I got out of the shower and started to do my hair. I'll curl it today because I'm going to see the cutest monkey ever. Oh God I can't believe I just said that. As I fixed my hair Jenny came in rubbing her eyes, "What are you doing?" I turned around with a big smile on my face, "He called." She looked shocked and then we both started to scream and jump. "Oh my God, what did he say?" "He wants to go on a proper date tonight." "Oh how nice!" "I know right!" I sounded too excited. "Here let me help you." Jenny said as she grabbed the curling iron. I'm so freaking excited about this!
We walked the busy streets of Seattle side by side searching for the missing Hep. "Where can he honestly have gone? He's drunk and half asleep." I said with an annoyed toned. I had my arms crossed still because it was freezing cold, I had thin shirt on so I'm helpless right now. I looked over at Jay who was calm and hands in his pockets. "I don't know either. He doesn't usually do this, he'll either fall asleep or act stupid. If anyone were to run off it would be Jr." I furrowed my eyebrow together. "Who's Jr?" He looked back me, "One of my crew members. Or was my crew member." Was? "Was? Why was?" He looked forward, "It's nothing. Come on let's hurry, it's past 2 already." and picked up the pace.
We walked all around the city and still no sign of Hep. We asked around and looked at places Hep would most likely be at, but no luck. It's so cold, I rubbed my arms rough in hopes it warm me up but nothing. "Hey." I looked over at Jay, he looked up at the sign above us and then he pulled me into a clothing store and had me wait by the door. "Give me a sec okay?" I nodded my head while he walked off with a half smile. It felt so good to be in a warm place like this, I walked around to keep warm and after a few minutes Jay came back with two black sweaters. "Here." He said as he handed me one. "Thank you!" I quickly put it on, it was huge! The sleeves were super long and it was half way down my thighs. I heard a chuckle and looked up at Jay. "Sorry but I thought you'd like this better." He had on his and it was a perfect fit. "It's cool, and you're right. I like this better." I gave him a small smile.
We continued our journey to search for Hep. There's seriously no sign of him. Jay had sent a text to all his friends saying to keep an eye out for him. The streets were filled with cars and the sidewalks with people, and even though it was a Friday night or should I say Saturday morning, I was nothing but exhausted from everthing. Jay went inside a few stores to ask around and while that happened I waited outside at a bus stop. I laid my head back trying to relax, I kept my eyes closed and just listened to everything around me. This is actually really nice, the cold air, the cozy sweater, the seemingly endless cars and people passing by. Suddenly I felt my head hit something hard yet soft. It was warm, like a person. I slowly opened my eyes and saw someone next to me, I turned to see Jay looking back at me. I sprung up and looked away, oh God how embarrassing, I could feel my cheeks turn bright red. He waved his hand in my face and my head snapped to him. "Did you hear me?" I shook my head. "I said should we try to get a ride for you to go back to your hotel?" "How? I thought you didn't have any money?" Then I looked down, "How did you even get these jackets?" He looked down and played with his fingers. "I might've.......stolen them." Oh shit.
"Jay! How could you?!" I stood pacing back and forth going off on him and he just suddenly started to laugh. I stopped in front of him and cocked my head to the side, "What's so funny?" He tried to catch his breath, "You believed me?" I huffed. "I mean, yeah. We did spend a lot at the restaurant so I guessed-" "And you're right, I spent a lot and I have no money." He stood up and I put my arms down. "Please note I would never steal anything." I nodded. "The owner of that shop is a friend of mine, ours, the crew. He designs our clothes and I wanted to check if Hep was there but he wasn't. So I asked if I can get some sweaters since you were freezing your ass off." I looked down and played with my nails. Oh. Okay. I put a piece of hair behind my ear and nodded, "Good," he nodded his head too. "but you should've asked for a ride or something." "I understand but the people that work there right now don't have cars or they're too busy to drive and at this time of night? Forget it." I looked back down and continued to play with my nails.
