The next day it rained like the guy had warned me, pouring down in sheets. I heard the roof creaking and a large crack. I rushed into the room I hadn't even set foot in since Madeline's death, her room. To my devastation there was a large gaping hole in the roof of it and everything was ruined, papers and pictures... everything. I lost the ability to cry a while ago. With this latest event I could feel my nails digging into my hands and drawing blood. None of this would have happened if she was still here. She was a kind girl who did nothing but care for others and what happened? She was killed! I was done being scared; I was going to find out who killed her and destroy that person.

A couple days later the storm had cleared up completely and I was out of the house as soon as I was dressed. I knew James wanted me to stay in school but I just couldn't do it, this was too important. Today I was going to find answers. I would not rest until I did, no matter what today I was going to make progress!

I grabbed the piece of paper and looked at it for the address the guy gave me. Despite how obnoxious he was I had to give him props, his hand writing was actually quite beautiful, whoever he was, and he helped me out a lot with his tips and the house address. Also in a way he took my mind off of all the things going on in my head, even if it was because he made me too irritated to focus on any of that.

I walked all the way into town and to the square to look for a map, quickly I found the road that the house was supposedly on. I memorize the map and start walking there, it looked like it would be another half hour before I reached the place. I had this feeling in my stomach that someone was following me though when I turned around no one was there. I could hear the faint 'pat pat' of shoe souls.

I turned around quick enough to see the silhouette of someone disappear into an alleyway, I moved quickly to the alleyway and was met face to face with the guy I met yesterday "I realize I am cute, but I don't need a stalker, man" he then smirked

"If I was stalking a girl, she would be a whole lot cuter than you. Personality wise and appearance wise as well." Asshole, tell me how you really feel.

"then why are you following me and hiding behind shit whenever I turn around?"

"well I figured you were going to that house, but I didn't want you to go alone... your personality pretty much says I'd get yelled at if I outright asked you."

"I don't need a babysitter thank you very much" I could feel myself growl, did I seem that childish to him?

He sighed "This is exactly why I was following you from behind, god you are so impetuous!"

"oh so you're using big words thinking I don't know the meaning of them?!"

"that is KIND OF the point in using big words!" he growled

"well too bad for you I am at the top of my fucking class, oh so sorry for being annoying your highness!" I sneered

"UGH you are NOT cute!"

"sorry darling but news flash, I am not here for you and I don't care what you think. So you can take your haughty ass and go to where you belong, the trash!" I turned and walked away as quickly as I could, my hands in fists as I could feel the heat rushing in my body as my blood boiled in fury. I reached the place earlier than expected because of how quickly I walked to burn off steam.

The house I came to was huge in my opinion, and was build entirely of beige and grey cobblestone, there were 4 stares that led to the front door, and the house was 3 stories. The grass was slightly over grown with rose bushes blooming in flower beds and thorny vines running up the railing of the stairs. The place was intimidating, it looked so... regal. I saw a flickering in the window and suddenly a hand came over my mouth before pulling me in the cover of some bushes. I elbowed into something fleshy and heard a groan of pain. I had fallen back on the person, when I turned away around I was inches from the annoying asses face. His jet black hair fell slightly in his eyes which were lucent swirling masses of blue and purple which entranced me for a second before my senses caught up to me and I growled "what are you-!" he clamped his hand over my mouth again.
