Imagine for stydiaokay

When the person you love leaves you all alone it hurts. It is like an open wound that never heals, forever reminding you of what used to be there. What hurts even more is when that person leaves when the biggest thing to happen to you had just begun. Jackson Whittemore was the one. The one who left me alone at my big moment. Jackson left for London a year and a half ago, a year and a half ago I found out one thing that would forever shake my world to the core. I found out I was pregnant. My life now revolves around my beautiful baby girl Lia who is just 11 months old. I found out that I was 2 months along when Jackson left me to go to London. To say I was heartbroken was an understatement, I was shattered, forever cracked and wounded.

Christmas is supposed to be a time of happiness and a time to look back on the year that has passed and to be happy about it. For me it has been a tough ride but in the end I got given a beautiful daughter who I love and cherish. It still hurts that the other person I love was not hear to cherish all our daughters moments together. Lia's first word was Dada that broke my heart even more because Jackson wasn't here to hear the repeating dada that Lia said every day for months until she finally said Mama. The pack was gathered at Scott's house for our annual Christmas get together. Every christmas the pack goes to Scott's house and spends Christmas Day together as a family. This was of course Lia's first christmas so video cameras were out again just like they were when she walked, talked and other milestones. Pretty much Lia has had a camera in her face since the day I gave birth, the camera switched from me to Lia as soon as she popped out.

"Merry Christmas Zara and of course Lia" Scott said when he opened the door dressed in a knitted christmas jumper that Melissa gave him last year for christmas, a Santa hat and his pj pants.

"Merwe, Cwismas Uncwil Squat," Lia said hugging her uncles legs tightly. Scott bent down and picked Lia up.

"Hey kiddo, kisses for squat?" Scott said in a baby voice matching Lia's tone before.

"Kwis Kwis," Lia said kissing Scott's cheek, Scott placed Lia on the ground and she bounded into the living room so full of life.

"Hey Za, how are you holding up," Scott asked me embracing me in a hug

"I have been better but it is christmas gotta be happy for her," I said following Scott into the living room and watching Lia intently playing with Stiles and Lydia.

"See she hasn't quite mastered the provocation thing yet, I am now squat." Scott said smiling

"Yeah she hasn't, has she squat." I said playfully hitting Scott's shoulder.

"Ok guys time for presents," Stiles yelled and the rest of the pack flooded into the living room and sat down in various seats. I sat on the floor next to Lia who was already tucking into a big piece of chocolate cake.

"Ok who gave her chocolate?" I asked

"It was stiles," Lydia said defensively,

"She is gonna get it all up her face and all over the furniture. Stiles can deal with it can't you Stiles." I said in my motherly tone.

"Yes mother," Stiles said sarcastically.

About 30 minutes later we had opened all the presents that were scattered beneath the Christmas tree. Lia had a collection of barbies, clothes and various noise makers that were sure to drive me mad. I had gotten a bracelet from Scott that said Maybe Tomorrow he gave some massive speech about how anything can happen tomorrow and the possibilities are endless all I have to do is dream. I also got some clothes from the girls, Stiles got me tickets to the Mets baseball game and demanded that I take him and no one else. Liam and Derek got me a new Iphone cause Lia put my down the toilet and stuffed it. Overall this christmas was uneventful and a nice time to be with my close friends and daughter.
