I had been separated from my best friend Brett for a month now. I was transferred from Davernforth Prep a month ago for 'disrespecting the education that Davernforth offers.' I said to the principal that he can go suck it for all I care. The only thing I regret about me transferring to Beacon Hills was the fact that my best friend was still at Davernforth Prep.

I was walking the halls of hell. Oh I mean high school when some idiot ran into me.

"Next time look where you are going idiot," I snapped

"I see you haven't changed," I idiot said, I just scoffed and kept walking ignoring the idiot that rammed into me.

"Whatever," I said before walking to the cafeteria to have lunch with my mates. I walked into the cafeteria and Scott waved me over to sit with him and my other friends. Yes, in the month that I have been at Beacon Hills, I was lucky enough to be welcomed into Scott McCall's clique. I sat down next to Kira and ate my lunch. They were blabbing on about the dead pool and the key that unlocked another third of the names. My interest was spiked when I heard my name being thrown around saying that I was on the list.

"Scott, am I on the dead pool?" I asked and he nodded,

"Yeah, you are worth 8 million," Stiles said

"Great, just great," I said sarcastically.

"Don't worry I will protect you baby," an unknown voice said. It was the one the voice from the idiot earlier.

"Excuse me?" I asked trying not to be rude,

"I won't let them hurt you," the voice said again this time the voice was coming from behind me.

I turned around and came face to face with the one person that I have wanted to see this whole month. His dirty blonde hair shone in the sunlight, his green eyes glistened as he smiled that million dollar smile at me. Before me stood my best friend. Brett was in my school. I instantly jumped up from my seat, whipping around and embracing my best friend in a massive bone crushing hug.

"Bretty bear, what are you doing here?" I asked calling him the nickname he hates,

"I came to see the only girl in my life," Brett said hugging me back even tighter, a chorus of aww's we shared among the table as Brett and I hugged.

"I miss you so much Brett," I said

"I miss you too pumpkin," he said kissing me on my forehead.

"So what was the real reason you came here?" I asked getting serious

"I have a lacrosse scrimmage today against Beacon Hills, and I also had to see you before then cause I have to tell you something really important." Brett explained.

"Come with me then," I said grabbing Brett's hand and dragging him over to the next table over in the cafeteria to talk.

"Well you see, I have had you on my mind quite a lot at the moment. You are the first thing I think of when I wake up in the morning, you are the last thing I think about when I fall asleep at night. I can help this feeling I have towards you. I know how you say that you love me like a 'brother'. But the problem I am facing at the moment is that I should not be feeling this way to a person I see as my 'sister.' The truth is I love you and I always have since we became best friends in 3rd grade and I have been and idiot not to admit this to you earlier. But I love you so much and I want to be best friends but lovers at the same time." Brett said finishing his massive speech about his love for me. I just stared at him blankly. My best friend is in love with me and wants to be my boyfriend. My crush likes me back.

"But I understand if you don't like me back, we can just forget that this ever happen." Brett said obviously concerned by my long silence.

"No Bretty Bear it is not that I am just in shock that my crush likes me back. I love you too Brett, I always have and always will. I would love to be more than best friends with you and only you Bretty Bear." I said hugging him tightly.

We pulled back from our hug and stared into each others eyes. Before I could comprehend what was happening Brett's soft lips were on mine. Our lips moved in sync, like they were made for each other. I pulled away breathless, our foreheads were pressed together.

"I love you," Brett said kissing my forehead again,

"I love you too Bretty Bear." I said.

It was only then that I realised that we had just made out in the school cafeteria.

"You guys are just too cute," Lydia said causing Brett and I to look up.

"I have to go get ready for the scrimmage but I will see you after pumpkin." Brett said kissing me on the lips quickly before walking away out of the cafeteria. I can believe it my best friend is now my boyfriend. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Sorry it took so long, everything in my life has been crazy at the moment.
