I am the sort of person who doesn't get jealous easily, but for some reason Derek being trained non-stop by Braden just didn't sit well with me. It wasn't that I didn't trust Derek to make the right choices and to remember that we had been together for the past 3 years. It was that Braden gives me the vibe that if given the opportunity she would jump at the chance to get with Derek.

I have been told that I only feel this way because the more you love someone the more afraid that one day they will wake up and realise that they no longer need you in their lives. When you are in love you are said to be jealous more or 'fiercely protective of one's possessions.' In this very case I became extremely possessive over Derek as soon as Braden stepped into our lives offering her help with Derek's situation with lack of werewolf abilities.

Sitting at the large Italian table in Derek's loft which I recently moved into alone was not where I thought that I would be at 8pm on Friday night or as Derek and I had changed it to the one day we could stop everything and just be two people madly in love. Unfortunately cuddling without Derek is not the same as he has not returned home since he left at 7am this morning for training with Braden. Of course Derek being away with Braden all day didn't sit well with me. I was shaken from my thoughts when I heard the loft door swing open revealing a sweaty and extremely tired looking Derek.

"Hey Der, where have you been?" I asked in a soft voice not wanting to argue with him about anything.

"Just training like I told you." Derek said rising his voice slightly near the end of his sentence.

"I know but it's 9pm you promised that you would be here by 8 for our game of thrones marathon." I said softly trying not to provoke him, but it didn't work I had riled him up.

"I have been training to protect you because I am weak against Kate and the Berserkers, if something happened to you Des I wouldn't be able to handle it. I am trying to do everything I can to ensure that we can have a future together. We can't do that if one of us is dead now can we!" Derek shouted,

"I get it Derek don't raise your voice please you know I don't like it when you get angry at me," I said holding back the tears,

"It is not all about you Desiree you need to learn to be not such a stuck up princesses cause not everything is going to get handed to you in life, learn to grow a sack." Derek shouted at me, that was when I had enough.

"Fine, I guess we both wasted 3 damn years on a relationship that you want to throw out the window in 3 bloody seconds, goodbye Derek I hope you have a nice life." I said storming out of the loft with tears falling down and staining my cheeks. I jumped into my car and drove my families house.

I knocked on the front door and I am greeted by the usual hyper twin brother of mine Stiles.

"Hey sis-woah, what happened." Stiles asked

"Derek happened!" I snapped, Stiles engulfed me in a hug whispering loving things in my ear,

"It's okay sis, you can stay here for as long as you need, Dad is at the station right now but should be back in the morning." Stiles explained,

"Oh yeah, Scott is also over right now and is probably going to stay the night, you can hang with us if you want." Stiles said as we walked up the stairs to his bedroom.

"STILES, WHO WAS AT THE DOOR?" Scott shouted as we reached Stiles room,

"Scott, shut up, it was Des." Stiles explained as we entered his room, Scott looked up his eyes softened when they landed on me, he jumped up and engulfed me in a hug. Scott's hugs were the best except for Derek's. Scott is like a giant huggable puppy.

"It will be okay Des, Derek is a dick if he lets you go forever." Scott said kissing my forehead,

"Ho-how did you know it was De-derek?" I asked curious

"He is the only one that I have noticed that makes you cry like this, except for when Stiles or your dad is hurt." Scott explained

"What about Al-alison?" I asked

"She was the only exception because she was like a sister to you so it was as if you lost a family member when she was killed." Scott said sitting down on Stiles bed.

"I am going to go get some ice-cream and snacks from the kitchen if you guys wanna chose a movie, I know ice-cream helps you to have fun.

"It will be okay Des, you have got Stiles, your dad, you've got me we all want the best for you and obviously it is not Derek."

"Thanks Scotty," I said embracing Scott in a hug, Scott swayed us side to side showing his affection for me. Stiles returned with his arms filled with various junk foods,

"I'm baaaaack, lets heal my twin sister with an abundance of junk food and love." Stiles said plopping own on the couch beside Scott and I.

"Thanks Stiles for trying to cheer me up," I muttered

"Shoot, I forgot the whip cream, I'll be right back." Stiles said before bounding off to the kitchen to retrieve the whip cream.

"You know Des I think you need to forget about Derek and move onto someone who will always care for you and treat you like a princess no matter what." Scott said

"Like who?" I asked him

"Like...well like me." Scott said

"What?" I replied gobsmacked that Scott McCall fancied me,

"I like you a lot Des, I will give you as much time as you need until you want a new relationship and then prepare to be wooed like you have never been before." Scotty said grinning ear to ear.

"Thanks Scotty, for everything." I said to him

"Oh...by the way I like you too." I added and I thought that Scott's smile couldn't get any bigger but I was proven wrong.

"Why on earth is Scott smiling like the cheshire cat?" Stiles said interrupting Scott and I's moment.

"I just got told the most amazing news, the girl I like, likes me back." Scotty replied. Maybe Scott was right Derek wasn't for me. Maybe the person who I am meant to be with is right under my nose. Maybe that person is my brothers best friend. Maybe it is Scott McCall.
