To think that the person you love hides something from you scares me. The thought of Aiden keeping a secret from me for the 2 and a half years that we have been together. Never crossed my mind until the day our relationship was pushed to the limit. When people say that love can over come all obstacles they are wrong it doesn't. In a way it makes it worse that you feel so strongly towards a person that it hurts when they keep a secret from you.

----Flashback to one week ago----

Every Friday night, Aiden and I have a night in just the two of us cuddling and watching movies. Just enjoying each others company. But today

Being late was never Aiden's style especially when it was to hang out with me. But for some reason today was different he was late and hadn't even contacted me to tell me that he would be late. I waited another 10 minutes before calling his cell phone,

beep, beep, beeeeeeeep, "This is aiden's phone sorry I can't answer at the moment leave a message and I will get back to you." I waited for the beep before talking into the phone.

"Hey babe it's me Delia I was wondering where you are you are missing out on all my cuddles, call me back, I love you." I said before hanging up.

I huffed in annoyance, stupid Aiden making me wait for him. I plopped down on the couch and started the movie without him. 20 minutes into the movie there was a loud crash that caught my attention. Not long after the crash, Aiden came running into my living room. I stood up and crosses my arms.

"Where have you been?" I asked in a bitchy tone because I was pissed off.

"You can't stay here Delia you have to leave NOW." Aiden said scared of something,

"Why?" I asked

"Because they will come after you, they know you are my weakness, I can't lose you." Aiden said pacing back and forth.

"Who will come for me?" I asked confused

"The Oni," Aiden said straight up,

"What the hell Aiden, if that's the best excuse you can come up with for missing out date then you can go to hell you prick." I spat at him.

"Delia, I am telling you the truth, they will kill you just like they did Allison." Aiden said

"Bullshit Aiden, Allison was murdered by street thugs, you don't have to bring her into this, she was my best friend and you decided to remind me that I lost her." I said tearing up at the thought of Allison being buried a little under 1 month ago.

"Delia, why won't you believe me?" Aiden asked,

"Maybe because you are spinning bullshit," I said

"Fine, if you don't believe me then I will have to show you something, promise that you will still love me after this." Aiden asked in all seriousness.

"Sure Aiden lets see the reason for you not showing up to our date." I said

Aiden stepped back and bowed his head for a few moments before lifting it up again. But when I looked at him he had piercing blue eyes, his canines were sharp like a dogs and he had pointy ears.
