JESS POV:
Michael and I have been hanging out nonstop for a couple of weeks now. Me, him, Ashton, and Holly go out all the time too. Holly is just awesome, she said once Jenn has to go back to the UK that I can just move in with her.
I came home from work on a rainy Tuesday afternoon with a text from Calum.
Calum: Jesssssssssssss
Calum: Come over and jam with me I got a new bass!!!! Plus I'm bored
Me: Shit Cal of course you did lol
Me: Be over soon loser
Calum has hung out with Michael and I a few times. He doesn't have a girlfriend so he's just all just all over the place. Him Luke and Jenn go out a lot though. And I think Jenn is starting to get feelings for Luke, but I know her guard is up pretty high.
Calum and I talk all the time and have grown super close within these few weeks. When he isn't being so obnoxious and loud he's actually really down to earth and nice to talk to.
Anyway, a couple days ago I told Calum that I play the bass... or at least I used to. Traveling here to Australia meant that I had to sacrifice leaving things being, this including my bass. I decided to text Michael
Me: Hey fuck face i'm going to Cal's to jam you should come with :-)
Michael: Fuck face huh? That's a new one lol
Michael: But sure babe i'll pick you up
Our relationship... or whatever you call it... was so fun and care free. We both are the king and queen of sass so it's never a dull moment. I haven't really mentioned anything about their band yet to him though because I don't want him to think that I was only into him because of that, but it has come up briefly.
Michael pulled up to our apartment complex and sent me a text saying he was here. "You look beautiful," he said picking me up in a hug when I reached the car.
I was wearing black ripped skinny jeans with a white v neck and my hair straight.
"You're the cutest," I smiled and kissed his cheek. "Ready to go jam out?" I said motioning an air guitar.
"Stick to the bass baby the guitar is all me," he joked pulling out of the drive way. "I'm actually excited to watch you geek out to some songs," he said.
"Me too I have to see this guitar god put to work!" I giggled.
We pulled up to Calum's and walked up to the door to knock.
Calum opened the door and sighed seeing Michael with me "I swear you guys are joined at the hip lately," he joked leading us downstairs to where his amps were set up. Michael went upstairs to get us some food.
"Jess, honestly, i've never seen Mikey like this with a girl, he is soooooo into you," Calum said dragging out the O's. I could feel my cheeks getting red. "Have you guys banged yet?" he asked nudging me in the arm playfully wiggling his eyebrows.
"Shit Cal, no we haven't" I said rolling my eyes while letting out a nervous laugh.
"Hmm, well that'll change soon. Hey do you have any other friends you could hook me up with? Luke and Jenn are into each other but too damn shy to do anything about it, and then theres you and Michael and Holly and Ashton, it's getting lonely in singleville," he went on picking up his bass and tuning it.
"Yeah actually Bekah who is my best friend and roommate from the states is coming out here in a few weeks to visit! If you behave yourself i'm sure I can set something up," I smirked.
Michael came back down with a mouthful of food, "What'd I miss?" he asked. Cal and I just looked at each other and giggled, "Uh nothing mate lets jam," Calum replied.
The 3 of us played some songs. I was a little rusty but Cal taught me some new stuff, and by now it was starting to get late.
"Hey Jess you ready to leave?" Michael asked letting a yawn escape his lips. I nodded before putting the bass down and stretching out.
"Goodbye love birds," Calum joked as we were walking out to the car.
"Can I stay at your place tonight? Jenn is still in Melbourne for the weekend with her boss and I don't want to stay at home alone," I asked him when we got in the car.
"Of course babe," he replied grabbing my thigh and placing a kiss on my cheek before driving off.
