CHAPTER 9

MICHAEL POV

Jess came up with this completely bizarre plan to try and hook Jenn and Luke up by going to a movie tonight. I'm going to make Luke go with me and he won't know Jenn and Jess are going. Perfect timing too, the little bitch Hemmings just pulled into my driveway.

"Hey man," Luke said as he walked in the door, plopped himself on the sofa next to me and picked up the second game controller. He likes to think he can beat me in FIFA.

"What are your plans tonight?" I asked him, full concentration on the tv screen. "Uh just planned on hanging here and binge eating pizza. I need a break from going out my liver probably hates me," he replied. "Good we're going to see a movie tonight then."

"SUP BITCHES" Calum screamed nearly breaking down my front door. We usually have band practice at my place every Thursday and today we were working on this new song I've been writing.

"Hey don't swear!" Ashton said coming in behind Cal. "I don't give a shit" Cal replied. We were all laughing since Ash is definitely the dad of the group.

After busting out a few songs Cal's nosy ass broke in, "so Clifford, you and Jess have been spending a lot of time together lately." I knew this conversation would come up sooner or later. "Well yeah she's my fucking girlfriend what did you expect?" I asked. "Dunno just haven't seen you act like this with a girl before." "Yeah I second what he said" Ashton chimed in. They weren't wrong. Usually I just brought girls home or didn't acknowledge them at all.

"It's different. I mean she's different. In a good way," I tried to explain. I'm never open with my feelings so I began to feel a little awkward.

"Oooooh Michael and Jess sitting in a tree," Luke teased before I cut him off. "We're done talking about this. Plus Luke why don't you grow a pair and make a move on Jenn?" That shut him up.

"Uh, mate... How are you going to tell the fans? With this upcoming tour paparazzi will be around a lot more so they're going to find out, I just don't want to upset them," Ashton started. "I mean Hols and I started dating before we even got a fan base so they were super understanding, but I still see hear from fans on Twitter sometimes," he finished looking concerned. "Shit I didn't even think about that," I said running my hands through the untidy mess of hair on my head.

I don't want Jess to get hurt, in fact that's the absolute last thing I want in this world. Ugh what was I going to do.

A few minutes later our manager called for our scheduled conference call. "Alright lads here's the run down. Tour starts in 2 months. You'll meet the One Direction lads in the UK where you'll be starting that leg of the tour. Once that's over 1D are going to South America, and you guys will be going straight to the U.S. I've set up a few shows for you guys to do on your own, details with that coming soon. We plan on releasing "She Looks So Perfect" as a single in a few weeks, and the EP will be released shortly after you guys arrive in London. Keep in mind that this is a stadium tour you'll be opening for this time, so the crowds will nearly be tripping. I'm not saying holiday is over now, but we'll be meeting in the studio for more organized rehearsals and to finish up writing/recording for the full album. Now rest up its going to be a busy 6 months" he explained before hanging up.

"DID YOU GUYS HEAR THAT?! WE'RE GOING TO BE PLAYING OUR OWN SHOWS IN AMERICA!" Ashton screamed like a little boy on Christmas morning. "And our first single will be released in a month!" Luke screamed as well. Calum just screamed I don't think any of it was English but we were all super stoked.

Mentally I'm ready for this tour, but emotionally I'm scared. I'm not sure what's going to happen with Jess and I.
