CHAPTER 8

A/N: The pic I used at the top is what I picture Jess & Jenn's friendship like. Also.. girls night goals!

Michael dropped me off after stopping to get chinese for Jenn and I. As soon as I opened the door I ran towards her, dropping the chinese on the way. "JENN!" I yelled as I jumped on her. "Oh my God I missed you!"

"I missed you too! But dude, it's only been not even a week," she said giggling. "Ugh I know but it's felt like FOR-E-VER! I have so much to tell you," I replied. "Me too! Let's get this night started shall we?" she said as she picked up the chinese and placed it on the island in the kitchen. 

After eating our food we went out to get some boxed wine, milkshakes, and a few movies. We picked out a chick flick, and "This Is Us" which was the One Direction concert film. Michael and the guys went on tour with them last year, and I know they're leaving again soon. I try not to think about it though, I really don't want Michael to leave. 

I brushed the thought from my mind and pulled out my phone to text Holly and let her know about the girls night. 

JENN POV:

There's really no other way to drink wine except for from the box. Jess and I figured this out when we were living in our hostel a few months back. It's the cheapest wine to get and it lasts forever. We pulled the bag out and started drinking it straight from the spout. 

Holly showed up and we instantly handed the bag to her. Her and Jess are closer since they've gone on a few double dates with Michael and Ashton, so tonight will be nice for us to get to know each other a little more. 

"Okay Jess let's hear it," Holly started to say placing the bag down. "We want to hear all the smutty details," she pulled the corner of her mouth into a smirk and raised her eyebrows. 

We were all pretty drunk now that the wine was fully flowing through our systems, so naturally we started talking about the guys. Jess started telling us all about her past few days with Michael, her face getting more and more red as her intimate secrets became exposed.

"I can't believe I slept with him so soon, but our connection is really intense it's hard to keep our hands off each other sometimes," she giggled. "Yeah we know, remember when we went out to dinner together and Michael couldn't keep his hand off your thigh," Holly replied giggling. "Mhm, Ash and I could see everything that was going on." 

Jess took the bag and took a long swig of the wine shortly after, probably a little embarrassed but we were all close enough now that we've started telling each other everything. 

Holly proceeded to tell us about Ashton and how they met, they've been together for nearly 2 years now. "Well we met in grade 11," Holly started to say and all the details fell in from there. Her parents just moved to Thailand for the next 6 months because they're both doctors and are on some medical program trip to help out over there. So now, she has this huge house all to herself. We convinced her to have Jess's friend Bekah's coming home party there, that way everyone would have a place to sleep. 

"So Jenn, how's Luke? And don't fucking lie to me because I know you're interested in him," Jess said playfully hitting me on the shoulder. 

"Um, well okay, I think he's super attractive. I mean just his laugh gives me butterflies. It's nice to finally have these feelings for someone again, I just don't know after Max. I don't want to experience Deja Vu, and I don't think he's even into me." I explained. I really liked Luke I was just super self conscious after my break up. 

"Are you serious? He's so into you," Holly said picking up her phone. "See I'll call Ash and he will even testify to it."

          Ashton: "Hey babe, how's girls night?"

          Holly: "Grrrrrreat! Pretty drunk. Boy talk, you know the usual. By the way you're on speaker"

          Ashton: "Oh man sounds like trouble. Heyyyyyy ladies"

Jess and I said hi, and started giggling since he tried to impersonate our 'girl talk'

          Holly: "So babe, Jenn says she doesn't think Luke's into her, has he said anything to you?"

          Ashton: "More like what hasn't he said! Jenn he's so into you he's just a shy loser"

          Holly: "THANK YOU that's what I tried telling her! But anyway, time for more wine. I'll see you in the morning, love you"

          Ashton: "Love you too sweetie"

"UGH! Relationship goals to the max," Jess groaned. "Oh please like you and Michael aren't the cutest thing ever! Oh and I told you so Jenn," Holly said. I started to blush, and we all giggled. Girls night has definitely been a success.
