Christine and I had the absolute best view of the sunset from up above the clouds. The orange and pink splashed together as I sighed at the calmness of the afternoon.
Looking over, I saw Christine tiredly stare out the window; her chin rested in her palm.
William was occupied with s movie on his tablet as I stood from my seat and came beside the one I called my girlfriend. "Hey." I smiled as she looked tiredly over at me.
Instead of a reply, she turned and cupped my face as my eyes closed. Our lips softly met as my arms reached over and held her lower waist. With a hum, she ran a hand through my hair and leant her head on my chest.
I kissed Christine's hairline and rubbed her shoulder as she dozed off. My eyesight set out of the window and onto the clouds beneath us.
It wasn't too long ago that I despised the thought of being with women. Thinking that I'd just focus on raising William until he hits eighteen.
But that one fateful day where Christine's idiot of an ex boyfriend left her sister outside a jewllers, was the day I had met the gorgeous girl.
I don't regret anything from that day. Meeting her was destiny -as stupid as that sounds- and I'm willing to do anything for this girl in my arms.
Everybody knows we're together now; if not then my Instagram today would confirm it. But that's ok because I can show the world that Christine Andrew is mine now. The girl that stole my heart and is the perfect female rolemodel that William needs in his life.
"You're stuck with me." I whispered closing my eyes and rested my head on Christine's.
"Whether you like it or not."
