-Niall's POV-

My phone captured the photo of the electronic piano before I instantly opened up my newfeed on Instagram.

A yawn escaped me as I shared the photo virally. The sound of an all to familiar child's giggle caught my attention as I drew my attention back to see my son.

I watched in awe as he ran around without pants on as Harry tried to catch him. "Come back! Uncle Harry needs to put pants on you!" William only laughed louder like he was mocking my friend and came towards me.

"Daddy!" His tiny hands reached out for me and I pulled him up into my arms.

"What are you doing hm?" I asked kissing his forehead and looking at Harry trying to catch him breath. Nappy in one hand; pants on the other.

William only dove his face in my neck continuing to giggle as I reached a hand out.

"I'll take them." A look of gratitude took over Harry as he then handed me what William refused to put on. "Ok you!" I roated playfully and swung William onto the chair I just sat on.

His little chubby legs kicked out as I had him on his back. I knelt over my son and quickly pulled his nappy on before doing the same with the pants.

A rule I learnt with changing small children; make it fast. The faster the better.

"Niall!"

"Coming!" I called back to whoever wanted me and picked up William. His small hands clung to my shirt as I patted his bag and picked up my work bag. Adidas bags can be worked bags too right? Well it was mine.

Leaving the room, the first person to greet me was Liam. He happily smiled over to me before smiling wider at William.

"You are a little runner aren't you?" William laughed and swung his legs back and forth as I smiled at the boy.

"Gets it from Daddy don't you?"

"Alright lads! Let's get the hell outta here!" Louis called across the studio and gestured his arms towards the exit. Other people followed toll as I carried William and I outside to where dusk was beginning to contrast over the city.

My hands dug around my back pocket to pull out my car keys.

"Same time same place tomorrow boys." I kissed William's head again and walked us over to our car and heard it unlock.

I remember when I had to change the number plate on it because somebody posted it all over the internet. It was a disaster. I almost lost thing damn thing.

"In we go buddy!" I swung William into his baby seat and buckled him in before throwing my work bag across the backseat. "I love ya." My lips gave him one last kiss until we reached back to the house.

It was the main house William and I lived in. Since my twelve month break is coming close, I thought it would be best to settle in so I can focus solely on William. But that's a good few weeks away.

"Daddy!"

"William!" I responded waving off the boys and pulling out onto the road. The trip wasn't too long; twenty minutes or so. But I knew it would be enough to help William doze off. It gave me thinking time.

Only a few weeks until it's just William and I. Until I can spend time with my baby boy without the hassle of traveling and inconvenience of jetlag.

Jesus, when William gets jetlag. He gets it pretty badly. He cries constantly and never knows what he wants. So that's why I prepare myself when I know we and the lads have to board a ten hour flight. Of course Lou is there to help and he has the company of Lux; but I'm his father. His blood. And he's my responsibility.

It pisses me off knowing that sometimes. That no good little playing bitch decided to up and leave after a few months of our relationship. Then come back when she was almost due to have William before pissing off again.

What the hell does she take me for?! Doesn't she understand that I have a life to live?! Way better then gets might I add. But for fucks sake.

At least she's contributing something into Williams life. Payments on child support of William. I don't need her filthy money though. I just need to know that his mother is somehow apart of his life. Even if it is through the government.

"Da-"

William yawned as I glanced back into the revision mirror to see his eye droop tiredly. A warm smile took over my lips as my balled fists loosened around the steering wheel.

"I love you William." I mumbled, concentrating back onto the road.

At least fifteen minutes later, we arrived back into the private area of my house as I pulled into the garage.

William was sound asleep making it so much easier for me to get him inside and into his bed. My hands unbuckled William from his seat before pulling him jnto my hold. Then I reached over and took my adidas bag before shutting and locking the car.

Light hums from me kept William sound asleep in my neck as I unlocked the door and pushed into the house. Everything was dark and quiet making me mentally thank the heavens.

William's room was still the way I left it this morning. Having known my cousin popped around for something today.

I put the adidas bag down and gently laid William into his cot. He wriggled a bit before I had him tucked in nice and comfortably.

"Goodnight buddy." My lips lingered on his forehead as I gazed down at my son for a moment.

I was really goddamn lucky. His mother was a disaster; but he was my little gift.

"I love ya." Taking my bag again, I crept out of his room and closed the door enough to leave a small crack open.

Now... to settle myself in.
