The twins are always wondering if they can come over to my house. I told them it wasnt much. But. They didnt mind. I decided to call them up. But Lan said it was only him... I still invited him over anyways..
"So Lan.." I mumbled
"Yeah?" He asked
"How come Lee isnt with you?" I asked
"My parents took him to the doctor.. Hes got a pretty bad cold.. And it isnt getting any better... Its because of all this bad weather we've been having.. Anyways. They insisted I didnt go So I wouldnt get sick... So I decided to come hang with you.. " He said
"It has been pretty bad weather lately.." I mumbled thinking about it
"Yepp... Hope Lee gets better before sprink break is up.. I dont want him to be sick when we have to go back to school.. " He mutterd
"Yeah that would be awful..." I sighed
"Well... Its getting pretty late.. I better head back" Lan said while standing up
"Okay.. Thanks for coming.. I enjoyed seeing you" I said with a friendly smile
"Your welcome I enjoyed it too-"
Anloud siron went off outside
"W-whats that!?" I asked
"Thats... A tornado alarm.." He mutterd
"T-T-TORNADO!!?" I stutterd
Me and lan looked outside my window and the winds looked pretty stronge
"Get away from the window Ameila.. " Lan said while pushing me away
My house phone range and I picked it up
"H-Hello?......Dad!..........Yes dad I know... Lock the door... Stay away from windows.... Hide in the hallway.. Yes... Lans still here.... Wait... You cant come home?...aw dad! Gah.... Okay.... Love you too.... Bye" I hung my phone up
"ugh... Is it alright if I stay?" Lan asked
"Please do..im to scared to stay by myself.." I mumbled
"Dont worry.. We'll be okay.." He chuckled "Now.. Go get some blankets and pillows and put them in the hallway.. Ill lock the door.."
I followed his orders quickly and gatherd blankets and pillows Lan was waiting in the hall. I sat next to him and put pillows everywhere and spreaded a few blankets over us.
"We'll be okay here..." Lan mumbled
The wind was so loud and scary you could hear it from inside my house. I moved a little closer to Lan.
"Hm?" He wondered
"Sorry... But. Scary weather just freaks me out.. " I mumbled
He wrapped his arm around me and pulled me even closer.
"Its okay Ameila.. I wont let anything hurt you" He said
"Thanks Lan.." I mutterd
"You know..usually when im away from Lee I freak out..." He sighed "But. Im okay when im with you... Course no one could replace Lee. But. Your almost as close to me as he is"
I didnt respond. I was to afraid to speak.. Move.. Anything. The weather outside was so loud. It got so late.. I was so tired.
"Ameila..." Lan mutterd
"Hm?" I mumbled
"Im tired.. And I know you are too.. Here lay down.." Lan said while helping me lie down. He layed right next to me with his arm still wrapped around me.
"Ameila... " he mutterd again
"yeah?" I asked
He reached down and slid his finguers down to my hand and held it.
"Huh?" I wonderd
"Sorry.. But I cant fall asleep unless I hold Lee's hand... Its a habit... Do you mind?" he asked
"No.. I dont mind. Just please. Dont leave" I whisperd while closing my eyes and drifting asleep.
"I wont, Ameila" He whisperd...
