There's Nothing to Fear Except Phear Himself

Chapter 2 Time to go

"What are you?" Alex asked staring at the mysterious figure. The figure started to walk towards Alex but he stopped when Alex started to walk towards him too.
"Are you not afraid?" The figure asked as the darkness crept down the hallway. His hands rose above his hands as more beings conjured out of the darkness.
"Answer me! What are you?!" He yelled down the hallway as he stopped and balled his fists. Jess hear him yelling and burst out of the gym.
"Alex what's wrong? Why were you yelling?" She looked into his eyes as he broke his state and looked at her.
"Do you not-" he cut himself off for he saw out of the corner of his eye that the being was gone as was the darkness. He un-balled his fist and walked back into the gym.
"You ok Alex?" Conner had asked him as he walked into the gym.
"I saw something and so did Jeckleson, but when Jess came out there it disappeared and the only reason I can find for it to do that was because I broke my stare with it," he claimed as he sat down next to his friends. The bell sounded and he walked to his class.
He got to class as stared out the window. He saw a person sitting on the hood of his car. He stood up and walked out of the classroom and the teacher ignored him, for she knew that she couldn't stop him.
He walked out of the high school and walked to his car. When he arrived the figure was gone. He looked around but saw no one but an average citizen walking in the front of the school.
"Where did he go?" he mumbled to himself as he got into his car. He opened his bag looking for his keys and pulled them out. He started the car and drove away towards Conner's house.
He arrived at his house and turned off the car and lay the seat back. He fell into a deep sleep.
He awoke to hear his friends pulling into the driveway. He sat the seat up and stared at their car. They got out and banged on the window.
"Have a good nap?" Conner asked with a smirk.
"Still could use some sleep but it was decent," he said getting out of the car and walking towards the door to get food. He opened the door and went straight to the kitchen. He grabbed a banana and peeled it.
"Hungry much?" Jess asked jokingly and grabbed an apple. She looked out the window and sighed.
"We should leave this place," Alex said in a monotone voice.
"Why? We love it here," Conner asked curious to why he would say something like that.
"There's something coming this way, something bad. Also you may like it here but I don't," he said staring at Conner.
"You have a fair point, I'm fine with leaving," Jess said looking back at both of them.
"I mean I'm not opposed but how do you know somethings coming?" Conner asked skeptical of Alex.
"You have to just trust me Conner, I had a something happen that made me feel this way," Alex said looking away.
"Fine let's just go, we'll both drive," Conner said aggravated with Alex but walked out the door. They went to the cars and started up the cars.
"Follow me," Alex yelled to Conner as Jess got into Alex's car. They pulled out of the driveway and started driving west. About ten minutes out of the driveway they come to a four way stop but they saw no one and ran it, however when Conner passed through a box truck came out of nowhere and hit his tail end.
The car went spinning out of control, and it flew into a ditch turning over. Alex stopped quickly and ran to the totaled car and Conner was bleeding badly and the car was on fire.
