"Where do you think they went?" Alex asked as the road down the highway on their way to an unknown place to him.
"He'll tell us when we get there," Andrew told him keeping his eyes on the road and almost ignoring Alex.
"Why are you trying to ignore my questions?" Alex asked looking at him with frustration.
"I'm just worried and focused," Andrew said gripping the wheel tighter and driving faster.
Alex looked out the window and just stared at the trees staring to become tired. He soon realized he was about to fall asleep and lay the seat back so he would be comfortable during his slumber. He fell asleep.
He was in a hellish world and he was surrounded by a ring of fire. His father appeared before him and did not say a word. Alex opened his mouth to speak but no words came out. They stared at each other before he tried to run off the disk upon which he was standing. He got the edge and jumped as far as he could.
"Do not try to fight me," Iapetus said as he caught him and put him back on the platform. "I am only here to watch you as you sleep to protect you from anything that may try to deceive you," he said staring at Alex.
"Why don't you just tell me what to expect for this coming battle?" Alex asked Iapetus while he stared at him.
"Because if I did then you wouldn't become as strong as your potential is and you wouldn't have a sense of danger if I told you," Iapetus said trying to explain to Alex that he has high potential.
"But you could train me father, and I could become stronger than ever!" he claimed yelling at his dad to train him.
"I am not allowed to train anyone, we as Titans vowed to not train anyone or anything," he explained to his son.
"That's stupid, what happens when you all die?" Alex asked with curiosity looking at his father.
"You and the others like you will take over, when that time comes you will have had training and experience by then. You will know how to rule as the Titans as will others," he told his son turning away from him to look at the rest of his kingdom.
"Fine, but I have one last question. Did you take my friends?" Alex asked his father as he sat down on the plate he was stuck upon.
"I did not, however I do know who took them and I cannot help you with that fight, none of the Titans can at this point." Iapetus sighed as he said these words not trying to make his son mad at him nor the Titans.
"Tell me father, who did this?" Alex stood and walked to the edge, as if to make himself seem big.
"It will be revealed to you when the time comes, but for now you must awake and return to your friend. Goodbye my son," Iapetus said as he turned around and Alex awoke in the car.
"Bad dream?" Andrew asked Alex as he leaned the seat forward and looked at the road.
"It was my father, he was being a jerk and withholding any information he had from me," Alex said as he grabbed his water bottle and took a sip of water.
"Well what info does he have?" Andrew asked pulling off the highway and into a gas station.
"Well he knows who took the others and he knows what evil is coming. He also told me that he can't train me in anyway but we will be trained by the time the Titans fall." Alex said getting out of the car and stretching.
"So it's true, the Titans will fall and we'll take their place, wait if that's true then I think I know who took them." Andrew said as he filled the car with gas.
"Who took them?" Alex asked as he sat back down in the car ready to kill the person who took them.
"Well I can't be sure but where we're going they will be able to, also we'll meet up with someone else to join us. He is like is us but he doesn't know it yet, I met him and I knew he was one of us because the way he acts." Andrew said sitting down in the car and starting it up.
"Well what's his name?" Alex asked as he grabbed a snack from his backpack and are it.
"You'll meet him after we make sure who's done this, but for now we are off to find a friend in Iowa, his name is Luke. He's an old friend of mine and he is a communicator between the Titans and the Gods that are left." Andrew said as he sped into the highway and drove off into the night.
"So there are Gods still left, and can you trust this Luke guy? I mean he could be some bad news because of the Gods and such." Alex asked as he stared off into the night.
"You'll have to find that out for yourself," Andrew said as he smirked and drove on towards Iowa.
