Life Unexpected? {Sequel to Innocence} {Complete}

Chapter six.

Alexandra's Pov.

Waking up the next morning wasn't all great. Knowing that I am caring for another live, is really scary to believe, and what even made me more shaky was the fact that I was telling Jackson today. Trust me, I don't want to tell him. I don't even want to tell myself. But I have to.

I get up out of my bed and get ready for school. Today they have a game, so I have to wear my uniform. I try putting on the top but it doesn't fit past the one pound that I have gained. So I decide to wear one of Jackson's jersey's and the bottoms and get the rest of my self ready.

When I finish, I head down stairs, to see that Ryder and Sage are already gone, the have a doctors appointment at seven. So it's just me and dad. He is sitting at the table drinking his coffee and reading the paper, like the usual. I go up the fridge and grab a water. Then head the counter and grab a banana.

I got over to the table and put the water in my backpack and than zip it up and start eating my banana. I sit down and look down at the floor. Dad looks up and drinks he coffee and says something.

"Anything new in life? How are you and that Jackson boy?" He asks.

"I'm pregnant dad." I mutter under my breath.

"What did you say?" He questions.

"I'm pregnant dad." I say a little louder.

"Alexandra your gonna have to speak up because I can't hear you." He says.

"Damn it dad, I'm pregnant." I yell.

His response is nothing but shock and utter disbelief.

"No. No you can't be. You can't." He says.

"Well, I am. Now I am gonna leave. I am gonna be late for school." I say throwing away my banana peel and heading out the door.

*At school*

I go to the stop me and Jackson usually meet up at. It's a private staircase that no one knows about, except me and him.

I wait and wait and wait, for what seems like forever until he finally comes up the stairs and comes to could to me and wraps his arms around my waist. I pull back and walk in the opposite direction.

"What's wrong?" He says stopping me as I try to pace back in the opposite direction.

"Jackson.. I need to tell you something." I say as I look into his dark hazel eyes.

"What is it love?" He asks wrapping his arms around my waist.

"I'm pregnant." I say as I let go from the grip.

He doesn't even respond. He shocked just as much as I am.

"Mine?" He asks.

"Yeah.." I say trying to hold back my tears.

He turns around and punches the wall. The bell for first period rings.

"Jackson, I need to get going." I say trying to leave but he pulls me back.

"Wait." He says as he pulls me back into his grip.

"What?" I question.

"I love you." He says as he kisses me.

I fall into his kiss and I even forget that I am pregnant for a second. It's like every thought in my mind goes away and the world just stands still for a second.

I let go, and the world comes backs to me. Slapping me right in the face.

I feel the tears starting up again, but it is suddenly stopped when Jackson grabs a hold of my hand. I tighten my  grip on his hand. I don't want to let go. I start to walk up the stair when he pulls me back. He whispers in my ear.

"Let's ditch today." He says passionately and fast.

I nod and we head out the next door we see.
