Chapter five.

-2 weeks later-

Alexandra's Pov.

"What about Xavier?" Ryder asks Sage as they flip though the baby name book.

"No, that doesn't sound like it would suit him." Sage says as she looks down in disappointment.

"Owen?" Ryder says.

"No." She responds.

"Carter?" Ryder says.

"To common." Sage says in disappointment, "We're never gonna find a name.." She says as she starts crying.

"Hey, it's okay, we have enough time to find him a name." Ryder says as he kisses her forehead.

"Hey, can I suggest a name?" I say biting a cracker.

"Yeah, sure." Ryder says.

"Hunter. Hunter Alexander James?" I say grabbing another cracker from the cracker package.

"Hunter.. I love it." They both say.

"Well there, I just solved your problem." I say chucking a bit.

I suddenly get a bad feeling in my stomach. Like I have been for the past two weeks. I rush to the bathroom, and empty the contents of my stomach. I finish and flush the toilet, blush my teeth and head out of the bathroom.

As I walk back to the kitchen, I am hit with a sudden thought, that I didn't want to think.

My period is two days late.

I've been throwing up constantly for the past three days.

My boobs are sore and growing like crazy.

And lastly.. My cravings for anything are out of whack.

I CAN'T be pregnant!

No, you can't be! Your better than this!

"I can't be." I say grabbing my stomach as I walk into the kitchen .

"Can't be what?" Ryder asks.

"It's nothing." I say letting go of my stomach.

"Tell me now, Lex." Ryder says coming up to me.

"It's late.." I say muttering under my breath.

"Your period?" He asks in confusion, "But you've haven't been active since.. Lex no." Ryder says.

"I had sex with Jackson.. and now I'm late." I say grabbing my stomach, "Ryder, I think I'm pregnant." I say tightening the grip on my stomach.

"Come on." He says.

"Where are we going?" I ask.

"Just come with me." He says holding out for my hand.

I take a hold of his hand. He walks me to his and Sage's room grabs me a pregnancy test from a drawer and directs me towards the bathroom. And hands me a timer.

"When you are finished peeing set the timer for two minutes and when it beeps your result will be up." He say closing the bathroom.

I pee on the stick and set the time and place it in the counter and pace back and fourth.

This isn't what my father wanted from us. Both of his kids to be parents at seventeen. I don't want to believe that I am pregnant. But everything points to it.

The timer goes off and I walk up the counter and turn it off. I look down at the pregnancy test.

Positive.

I look up and look directly at myself in the mirror. I take a deep breath and wipe away a little tear coming from out of my eye. I grab the test and timer and head out of the bathroom.

I walk down stairs, and sure enough Ryder is waiting for me with Sage in the kitchen.

"What does it say?" Ryder asks.

I just past it to him. I am in to much shock to talk.

"Oh Lex..." Ryder says as he comes to hug me.

I open my around and fall into his grip and start crying. I dig my head into my brother shoulder. I don't want this right now. I don't want to believe it.

"Shush.. It's okay. Everything is gonna be okay." He says as he rubs my back.

I just stay in his arms and cry. I am so shocked. This isn't what I expected from myself at age seventeen.

I let go from his grip after a few minutes. I wipe away my tears. I look Ryder and feel the words come out of my mouth.

"I have to tell Jackson.."
