"...Gojyo..." whined the childish monkey while weakly clutching his stomach. "Mm?" Moaned the red head while closing his eyes. "I'm hun--" Gojyo instantly whacked Goku on the head. "Stupid Monkey! I don't care!" He quickly pulled out a cigar from his pocket. "We just ate lunch five minutes ago!" The irritated Kappa struggled to light his cigar, but after a few strikes, it finally lit and revealed a strong, thick scent. "Alright already!" Yelled the golden eyed monkey as he rubbed his head. I could hear Goku and Gojyo arguing, indicating that I wasn't alone. I quickly turned around and glared at the both of them. "Goku? Gojyo?" I asked, curiously. "What are you two doing here?" Gojyo let out another puff of smoke and opened his eyes. "... You didn't think we'd let you go off running around by yourself, did you?" I loved the fact of how everyone in the group silently watches and looks after each other... Even if some of them don't show it, you can still feel the bondage we all have together. "Yeah, but Sanzo said that you shouldn't have to baby me..." Gojyo cringed at the mentioning of Sanzo. "Sanzo, Shmanzo." He smirked. "That monk wouldn't know what was coming to him, even if it hit him straight in the face," I heard two different patterns of footsteps coming from in front of me. As I slowly looked up, it was Sanzo and Hakkai slowly approaching us. "What was that, Stupid Cockroach?" barked Sanzo with aggravation written all over his face. "Sanzo! Hakkai! You both came!" I was relieved at the fact that Sanzo came with Hakkai, instead of going his own way. "I'm glad that you guys decided to come with me... But you could get seriously hurt...By me, even... Who knows what could go on in there..." I said while rubbing my shoulder. "COULD." challenged Gojyo. "But we WON'T." I gave Gojyo a sheepish smile and continued walking towards our destination. "Well, let's get going." Gojyo sped up to me, leaving the others behind and began to whisper to me. "Don't let Sanzo get to you." comforted Gojyo. "He cares about you. You guys have some history, right?" I lightly blushed and felt embarrassed all over again. "Yeah, but..." I hesitated. "When we met... I wasn't really myself then..." Gojyo looked confused and scratched his head. "If you weren't yourself, then who were you?" I blushed even harder and felt annoyed that Gojyo was getting in my personal business. "Hahaha, I was a waitress... The first time I saw him was in a restaurant. I don't know what came over me at Shirusao's Parade... Sanzo and Goku entered the Cafe and sat down..." I grunted at him.
[[Flashback]]
"Hey, you idiots." I casually greeted. "Welcome to Shirusao's Cafe." It looked like Sanzo brushed off my insult and Goku didn't care, as long as the food was good. "Hello!" greeted Goku as he scanned the Menu. "I'd like to have six of everything on the Menu, please!" I could feel that the vibe of the mood was unsettled; I couldn't find a reason for my poor choice of words. "Whatever." I told Goku as I shifted my glare to Sanzo. "And you?" The monk didn't bother looking at me as he sat a cigar in his mouth. "... Just Tea..." It were as if every word Sanzo said ticked me off even more as the words left his mouth. "Right away!" I yelled sarcastically as I snatched their Menus. I disappeared into the kitchen and gave the cook the ticket. A few moments later, I returned with their orders and sat down with them. "So... You're Sanzo, correct?" I said with a more humble attitude. "Tch... I don't remember inviting you to sit with us..." Goku looked at me and nearly choked. I glanced at Goku and smiled at him. "Goku, dear... are you alright?" He looked at me with his golden yellow eyes but no words came out. "Enjoy your lunch, gentleman!" I said as I got up, clocked out, and left the Cafe. After the Parade madness, I reported back to Shirusao. "Seichi? Is that you, my precious?" he asked with the cheesiest voice possible. "Yes, Shiru... It's me." I sighed at him. "I always knew you were different from everybody else. You never would follow my rules..." He said with a smile as he pinched my cheek. I slapped his hand away and gave him a disgusted look. "... Any orders for me today?" Shiru looked at me with sadness and disappointment in his eyes. "Fortunately, yes!" He cheered. "I need you to deliver this package to Sanzo for me..." I snatched the package out of his hand and began to walk out the door. "Make sure you fiddle with him a bit for me!" He yelled right before I closed the door.
(Sanzo's House)
As I approached Sanzo's doorstep, I started to second guess myself. These orders I was following was ruining my relationships. I couldn't control my body at the Cafe. It was like Shiru's orders made my body follow whatever he said, even if I didn't want to do it. I gripped the package tightly and knocked on Sanzo's door. "... The hell d'you want?" Yelled Sanzo through the door. I sighed and struggled for words. "I have something..." the atmosphere fell silent for a few moments. "It's from Shirusao..." I forced myself to say. I heard Sanzo flick the safety lock off of his gun and could feel him aiming it directly at my forehead. "Is that so... Banishing Spirit." Sanzo threatened with a boldness to his voice."Eh heh heh! Well shit! You saw right through me, didn't you?"I smirked while forcing the door open. There he was... Standing a foot directly in front of me with his gun six inches from my forehead. His shiny, golden locks dangling in a ponytail running down his back. His light pale skin with his robe loosely hanging down his body. I slowly took a seat at the table and dropped the package on top of his newspaper. Sanzo watched me like a hawk; his solemn purple eyes would not leave me for a second. We glared at each other awkwardly for a while. "Look." I began, "We're on the same team here. It's not like I'm a demon, or anything. I am a BANISHING Spirit. You have a BANISHING gun! If you shoot me, it won't even phase me. We're meant to kill demons you know." Sanzo furrowed his eyebrows at me as if he were analyzing me."...You've done your job... Now leave..." Ordered Sanzo. I sarcastically gasped at him. "What? Sanzo! Come now! Why are you trying to get rid of me so soon? Is it because I'm BETTER than you?" I challenged. Sanzo didn't look surprised. "Don't think I don't know what you're up to." I gave him a look of determination. "What I'm up to? I don't know what you're talking about, Monk. Maybe that Ink on your forehead is messing with your brain. Heh. Let's not get into other peoples' business here." I stood up and headed for the door. "At least I'm not a pussycat that mopes around, angry at people because my Master died on a rainy day!Life would be so much easier if your he were still around, wouldn't it?" I sighed at Sanzo. "At least he could keep his mouth shut. Shame he wasn't strong enough to be a REAL Sanzo. Just. Like. Yo--" A bullet shot roared from behind me and struck the doorknob apart from the door. Goku poked his head out from his room in concern. "You okay, Sanzo?! I heard a gun shot!" I giggled to myself. "Wow... Without that gun, you really are nothing."I said while leaving.
