I gave myself a push from the wall and began after Nii. He seemed to pull something out of his pocket and a wall slowly rose from the ground and began to close off the hall. "Make one more move and scrawny little Sanzo here gets it!" A faint moan was heard from Sanzo as he was forced up to his feet. After those words bounced off my eardrums, I stopped dead in my tracks. My hands instantly went cold, and my feet weighed 100 tons. I tried to speak, but something was clogged in my throat, causing me to swallow deeply to get rid of my dry tongue. "Sanzo..." I whispered, dryly. I stood there contemplating on whether to go after the scripture, or to save Sanzo's life. The wall was halfway up now, and I didn't have a decision. "Leave him alonnnnneeeee!" Goku's foot was jammed between Ganah's ribcage, and blood spewed from her mouth. "Why you--" before she could finish, Gojyo had his fist resting snugly in her jaw, and Hakkai was dragging Sanzo away from the Havoc. "We'll be fine, just get that scripture back!" Gojyo yelled go me. I gave them a nod of understanding and slid through the little opening that was left at the top. There was no light in this hall, so I used my blue energy to light a path. I couldn't hear any breathing except for my own; the air was very thin and stale. I started to speed up into a light jog in hopes of finding at least a trace of where Dr. Nii was. Instantly, I knew that I wasn't alone. "You shouldn't have come..." a whisper of what sounded like Dr. Nii's voice was like a tickling sensation against my ear lobes. I couldn't tell which direction it came from, but it kept repeating itself until I reached a split path. There were five different directions I could choose to take. "Are you kidding me?!" I yelled to myself. I didn't know which path to take; he could've chosen either one of them. "Well, guess I gotta start somewhere..." I mumbled. I was so frustrated at the situation I was in that I punched the wall of the second trail. I must've hit some type of trigger, because one of the bricks had a glow of light blue, and the others had a glow of dark red. I started to walk down the path of light blue. The further I walked,  I could hear a  sound of bricks collapsing behind me. As I turned around, I noticed that the path behind me was no longer existent. Everytime I took a step, the brick behind me dissipated. "Wow... I bet Nii's probably gone by now... It's going to take me ages to get out of this hell hole." As I took a step, I heard the sound of a piece of glass crack underneath my shoe. I then knelt down and discovered that it was a small potion bottle, the one that Nii had pulled out earlier to raise the wall. I dipped my finger in the remnant liquid on the ground and rubbed my fingers together to analyze it. "Yup... Definitely was a potion... Still fresh, too."
