Nii was sweating bullets; my red orbs were glaring him down while my arm was dug snugly underneath his chin, partially cutting off his circulation. I could feel him struggling to inhale the stuffy air, but it didn't faze me. My mind was still attempting to wrap around all the events that had previously occurred. Anger and revenge were radiating throughout my body as if it were replacing my innocent blood. I swiftly snatched the scripture from Nii's grasp, with no emotion whatsoever. "Well, Nii..." I began while applying more pressure to his neck, "Ganah isn't here to save you now." A smirk wiped across my mouth; I felt so powerful and enraged that an ignorant laugh spewed, causing the smirk to morph into a cocky ear-to-ear grin. I could feel the fear in Nii's silence. "Oh, don't worry! I'm not going to kill you! Ganah's going to need someone to run back to. And you'll have to call your fellas back and tell them the bad news." After those words flung from the tip of my tongue, I instantly got a spine-chilling churn in my stomach. The anger had erased all of my awareness, and I had completely forgotten about the others. I removed my arm from Nii's neck and he instantly collapsed to the ground, ragdoll-like. He grabbed his neck and began coughing and gasping for air. "That's right... Breathe. I need you alive for this next part!" I kicked him so hard in his stomach that I could feel at least two of his ribs crack. Nii let out a loud yelp with a bloody wet cough instantly after it. "You won't... –cough-... get away... with this..."Nii managed to mumble beneath his breath. I tossed the scripture atop my shoulders and knelt down to clasp my hands around Nii's neck. "You'll pay for this, you infiltrate. Just not at the moment. I have unfinished business to attend to." My voice was evil and grim now. My eyes didn't leave his as I chocked him even harder. I waited a bit, debating on whether I should let go or continue to torcher the doc. "I guess that's it for now." I told Nii while releasing him. "I'll have to save this toy for another day." He rested against the wall lifeless, as if he were knocked out cold, but I didn't care. I began to sprint down a long hall that was placed directly to the right of Nii. The anger had fled from my body but my adrenaline was pumping harder than ever. My sprint became more of a glide... I was running faster than I knew I was capable of; I could hardly keep up with my own two feet. Before I knew it, I was at the end of the never ending hall. I could hear moans and yelps of the Sanzo party; it sounded as if they were really close, but I was surrounded by nothing but walls: a dead end. "Gojyo! Hakkai!" I yelled in hopes of a response. Their voices became even more muffled as if they were moving farther away from my current area. I began punching and jabbing at the wall in hopes of breaking it down into crumbles. "Don't worry you guys!" I exclaimed while increasing speed, "I'm here!" Instantly, the wall crumbled down directly in front of me with a huge cloud of smoke erupting in the air; I coughed from all the debris. As soon as I collected myself, I looked around the room; everyone looked like they went through hell and back. Scratches and bruises covered their entire bodies. "How are they still standing there fighting?" I thought to myself. "Oh yeah, they ARE the Sanzo party, afterall." A quiet laugh escaped underneath my breath and I shook my head with my palm resting on my forehead. "Seichi!" exclaimed and excited monkey, "You've got the scripture back!" Despite his pain and suffering, he was still full of energy and hope. My stomach turned as I glanced at Sanzo to make sure he was alright. If anything happened to him, I wouldn't be able to live any longer. The monk's purple eyes met mine with a look of relief. I wasn't sure if he was relieved to see me or his scripture, but hopefully it was both! "How long are we gonna stand around?!" Gojyo seemed irritated, but it was just what we needed. If he hadn't said anything, I probably would've frozen in Sanzo's soft eyes. "Give him the damn scripture already so he can end this mess!" Without hesitation, I rolled up the scripture and tossed it to the monk. Sanzo gracefully caught it between his fingertips and placed it on his shoulder blades, where it rightfully belonged. "I'm gonna need some cover while I chant the sutras!" Sanzo barked at us without a second thought. Before I could even think to move, the monk was already mumbling dozens of sutras underneath his breath. I gave sanzo a nod of approval and dashed to join the others. Ganah seemed to be already affected by the graceful words that were bouncing off of Sanzo's tongue. She dropped her sword and covered her ears in desperate need. "N-no! What is this—What is he doing?! Stop it!" She teleported directly in front of the monk and raised her fist in preparation for a punch right in his jaw. "Oh no you don't!" I yelled as I grabbed her neck from behind and forcefully threw her into the wall. "Stay away from my Sanzo!" Instantly, my cheeks flushed beet red. I was so determined on protecting Sanzo that my internal feelings had spewed into reality. I could feel their confused looks on my back. Sanzo hadn't stopped mumbling the sutras, which gave me a sense of relief and a little hope of him not hearing what I had said. "W-well what are we standing around f-for?!" I barked at them, trying to get them to stop thinking about what I had said and to retain focus. No one said a word, and without hesitation approached Ganah and started grabbing her in preparation for Sanzo's final sutra. The monk stood and pointed at Ganah, with a confident yell of "Makai TENJOOOO!" The scripture flew at Ganah and wrapped around her body, burning her like fire. She yelled and struggled in hopes of being freed, but instantly disintegrated into ashes. Pants were heard all about the room from an exhausted Sanzo party. "We should really try finding a way out—" I was instantly interrupted but a rumbling in the walls. The building was slowly falling apart. Ganah's life force seemed to be the only thing keeping this building stable, and since she was gone, there was only one way this building was going... You guessed it... Down. "Well let's get going!" Yelled the exhausted monk. It seemed like it was a struggle for the monk to stand alone on his own two feet. Using the scripture must've taken a lot out of him. "Come on! Get a move on! I don't want to be around when this thing comes crashing down!" The monk turned around for hopes of an exit, but instantly collapsed onto one knee. I yelled his name in concern, and lifted him up. "You shouldn't over exert yourself! That scripture is really powerful!" The monk brushed me off with a "tch" and started to walk forward, nearly pulling me with him. "Welp, you heard the man." I hollered back to the others, who had looks of concern all across their faces. "Let's get going. I'm sure a path will open soon with all this falling debris."
