Each step I took felt heavier than the last, but I knew that I couldn't stop running; the entire world was at steak. The cool breeze froze my tears tightly on my cheeks. I felt horrible for allowing all of these events to occur. "It's all my fault..." I kept telling myself. Nobody could convince me to think otherwise. My lungs quickly inflated and deflated as I took the deepest of breaths. "Gotta get that scripture back..." The ground began to violently vibrate as if an earthquake were underway; the space between me and the wall grew thinner with each pace I took. I began to accelerate in speed, in attempt to outrun the enclosure. As the walls got closer to me, I felt heat radiating from the edge of the walls. "Oh no!" I yelled to myself. I wasn't moving fast enough. I could feel my skin try to start sizzling into a 3rd degree burn and yelped aloud. The path I was running down felt like it would never end; the walls were so close that they were nearly scraping off my skin. I couldn't see the point of running anymore. The heat waw roasting me like a thanksgiving turkey, but my legs wouldn't stop moving. "I'm sorry you guys..." I mumbled to myself, "I can't... It's too much..." Instantly, a flash of Sanzo's face appeared before me. His mouth looked like he was saying 'no!' with some other words behind it that I couldn't make out. More tears leaked from my eyes. Feelings of disappointment, regret and sadness took over my body. "I let you down Sanzo... Please forgive me..." before I knew it, I made it out of the 'never ending' wall closure. I fell flat on my stomach and rested, trying to fill myself with positive thoughts and encouraging words. "... Yes! I told you I got the scripture...! Send down a flying dragon for me!" Nii was frantically pacing around cruddling the scripture like a long lost child. I instantly forced myself to get up and dashed over to Nii. "Well, well, well..." I mumbled through my teeth, "Pleasure meeting you here..." I clamped my hand one end of the scripture, watching it like an evil dog guarding his bone.
