The creature looked down at the man. It's eyes were dark and there was a look of hunger in them. It was three times as tall as him. It legs were as thick as a tree truck. The ends were covered with blood. The man shivered. "H-hello. You seemed to have stomped on my lunch." He was referring to the bird. "Now I'm going to have to eat you." The monster didn't seem to understand his words. It lifted its leg up. The sharp end had feathers stuck to it. "Screw my life." He jumped out of the way just as the leg was coming down at him. He stumbled to his feet. "I have no way of fighting off something like this. But I bet it's not very fast." He took off running. He looked over his shoulder. The creature wasn't moving. "As I thought. Something slow like that wouldn't chase after it's prey." He ran down a alley and stopped. He watched behind him. "That wasn't normal." The rain had slowed down to a sprinkle now, and there was a breeze. He couldn't hear any heavy movement so it didn't seem to be following him. He moved out of the alley to the next street. The buildings here weren't as destroyed as those at the outer part of the city. He looked down at a puddle. He could finally make out how he looked. Dirty blonde hair. Blue eyes. He seemed normal. "I looked pretty damn good. Of course that mean nothing without anyone around!" He sighed. "This sucks." As he began walking again, a brick from on top of a building fell in front of him. He looked up. His eyes widened. The creature was there on the building, starring down at him.
