David starred into the dead eyes of the monster. He could feel his heartbeat in his hands as he held the sharp pole. He somehow knew how to kill it. He needed to stab its underside, but there was a risk of being crushed if he did. That and of course how high up the creature was from the ground. It's legs were the only things he had a good shot at harming, if they weren't hard. He just realized just what he got himself into. One man. A broken pole. Against a big spider-like monster three times taller than him. "It seems to me like you are to overpowered. It would help me a lot if you could maybe loose leg or two." The monster said nothing. "Fine be that way." He lunged forward, pole extended. He stabbed it into the front right leg. Blood shot out onto the ground. The monster let out its horrible screech. "Ha! So I can hurt you!" The creature stepped back. It brought it's left leg up and brought it down on the pole, breaking it. "You are one smart thing-a-mabober." It was the coolest thing he could think of. Before he could react; however, the monster whipped its arm around and knocked David into a wall. Pain shot through the front and back of his body. He fell to the ground. He breathed heavy. He knew he wasn't going to win this.
