Epilogue

*Mckenzie's POV*

'Come in' my voice is stern and firm, as I frown at the written work in front of me. I would have thought that some one would be capable of writing a simple story for the magazine that they have work for, for over a year as well as having a degree in journalism but obviously I was proven wrong as the work in front of me is completely and utterly unacceptable.

This is also precisely why I am currently looking for 3 new employees to help with the writing and run departments within the company. I have been interviewing for over an hour, going straight through my lunch break which was very frustrating.

As I look up my eyes take in the young man stood in front of me, he looks to be early twenties and dressed very smartly, same height as myself and when I look back to the sheet I can't help but smile slightly. But I refuse to show it. I need to be firm

'Sit down, Mr Tomlinson'

He swiftly sits himself down, I lean forward with a little frown upon my face 'So Mr Tomlinson , I am aware you came here today with some friends. Why?'

He fidgets, sitting up straighter than before 'There were numerous jobs available and we all liked the sound and ethics of this job offer. We decided to all apply to this job and hope one of us to get it.'

'And what happens if you don't get it?'

'I will be very disappointed however I will congratulate my friend if they get it and continue to search for another job'

'Okay Mr Tomlinson, go and collect your friends'

His eyes widen and mouth opens before he shuts it and stands to his feet walking to the door. It must have been not even 5 minutes before the door opens again and I see 3 figures walk into my office. I had been notified by my assistant earlier that they were clearly friends and the way I see it, is that friends often work well together, helping each other and wont be afraid to ask each other their opinions.

'Names please?' I have yet to walk up as I look at the paperwork before me

'Liam Payne'

'Niall Horan' as soon as I hear his name my head snaps up into his direction and smile breaks out onto my face

'Niall. How are you?' oh please sit down' I exclaim happily to see an old friend. Over time Niall and myself have become very close, we have helped each other and he was always talking about his two friends but I hadn't even made the link

'Hi Kenz, yeah I am grand. I hope your well?'

'Aw Niall, I am great. Why didn't you tell me you were coming today?'

'I didn't want special treatment' He speaks nervously as he looks at Louis and Liam

'mhmm, okay back to interview, sorry about that. Right Liam you will describe Louis, Niall to describe Liam and Louis to describe Niall. Go Louis'

He looks at me before looking to Niall with a soft smile 'He's great. My bestfriend. Always there and supportive. He never stops eating but he is always happy and bubbly. You could be completely stressed and near breaking and he will fix it and chill you out. He works hard and loves what he does'

'Liam, well Liam is very serious when it comes to work and deadlines. He gets things done and to an amazingly high standard. He cares for everyone and always offers help to who needs it. Organised and organises others when its needed'

'Louis, he's childish and funny. He likes to have fun but that makes him creative. He always thinks outside the box and deal with any problem thrown his way. He works hard but has fun doing it. He is a great person and always there when needed'

'Mhmm...okay. Mr tomlinson you will run the sport section of my magazine. This meaning you will be manager of the people writing articles. You set the tasks and topics and you will read all their work to make corrections or changes. It has to be perfect' He smiles brightly and I return the smile before facing Niall

'Niall you will run Music. Everything about music. It will be the same as Louis' job but with music and finally Mr Payne you will organise and help theses two. keep them in line and on task. You will also be in charge when I am out of the office. Congratulations and thank you. Monday morning 8am sharp and I will show you around. Now off you go'

They say their thank you's before quickly leaving the office. I can not believe how things have changed in the last few months. After everything that had happened with me and Harry being in hospital. We can safely say that we both reached the other side of that dark time.

We both took our times from work to heal together and with the family we love.

It quite surreal to think we have been together for over a year now and although nothing is quite perfect, we are pretty damn close to that.

I couldn't ask for much more than what I have.

I head home from work, nervously clutching my bag, I was shaking absolutely terrified. Reaching our apartment I quickly head tot he kitchen placing the objects on the kitchen counter before walking calming to the sofa and taking a sit. Knowing Harry will be back soon, I wait nervously...

It couldn't have been to long before I head him walk in, shouting a quick 'I'm home Baby'

I hear him hang his coat before his footsteps fade into the kitchen, I hold my breath as I hear a shaky 'Baby.... Kenz. C-come h-here'

I slowly rise from my seat and walk towards him, I look to see him holding the image in his hands, he's shaking with some tears rolling down his face.

'Baby what is this?' His voice is shaky as he looks at me for the first time. I smile gently as I look at my fiancée before me.

'Its- its our baby Harry'

Everything after that was a blur, I was wrapped up in arms being spun around and hearing whispers of 'I love you'

who would have thought that when I first walked into the office to cover for an interview someone else was meant to do that I would find the love of my life. Who would have thought that for once the true Harry Styles came to the light. Who would have thought that I had gotten the chance to crack the puzzle, to open the book and read it all
