Emily's POV
I have to admit Alison took me by surprise when she hugged but a hug doesn't hurt anyone, does it? I am going to the grille to have dinner with Ezra and Maya. I think it will be a good idea to talk about my day with my colleagues. When I got to the grille they both were already there. I walked to the table.
"Hi Maya, Hi Ezra" I said.
"Hey Emily" Ezra told me. Standing up from his seat and pulling the chair for me.
"Thank you" I said.
"No problem" Ezra mentioned.
"So, Emily how was your day?" Maya asked me.
"Well, it was an interesting day". I answered sincerely. "How was your day guys?"
"Mine wasn't that bad" Maya shared with us. She was showing me her dimples, she is so pretty.
"Given the fact that I knew most of my students already it was nice seeing them again and I am glad you ladies had an interesting day". Ezra explained.
The waitress came to our table and asked us what we wanted. We ordered the food and kept talking.
"So there is a new gallery opening on Saturday I was wondering if you would like to go?" Ezra asked us. It sounds nice being able to spend some time out of school with them.
"I would love to go, I love art" Maya answered.
"How about you Emily?" Ezra asked me.
"I am in" I told them.
"Do you know the address?" I asked Ezra.
"Oh, yeah it is in Ravenswood" He told me.
"Where?" I asked confused.
"Don't you know Ravenswood?" Maya responded.
"No, this is the first time I have heard about it". Wait. Now that I think about it Hanna mentioned a name like that one of this days. Maybe Hanna is going to the opening too. What am I thinking? Hanna only likes Caleb and food.
"You can ride with me if you want to" Maya offered.
"Okay. That'll be nice" I said. "What time are we going?"
"The opening it's at 6 pm, we need to get going at 4:30" Ezra told us.
"I am going to pick you up at 4:15 Emily" Maya added.
"Cool!" I said not having anything else to say.
"And then if you girls want we can go to a bar and have some drinks". Ezra mentioned.
"That sounds like a plan" Maya said.
"So is everyone in for this coming Saturday then?" Ezra asked again.
"Totally" I said.
"Count me in" Maya finished.
We kept talking about our favorite music, food, writers till it was 8 pm and I decided it was time to leave.
"Guys it was nice having dinner with you but I need to head home now" I told them.
"Oh yeah I also need to get going" Maya said checking her watch. It almost seems she forgot doing something.
"Okay let's go then and don't worry dinner is on me" Ezra told us.
"You don't need to" I said
"But I want to" Ezra said.
Maya and I thanked Ezra and after he paid we went out of the restaurant and said our goodbyes. Maya hugged me before I could get into my car.
