Girl 1: I'm definitely coming on Thursday!!
Girl 2: Yeah sure. Just don't leave me alone like you did last Thursday.
Girl 1: I promise I won't!! I'll definitely be at your house at 4pm sharp!
Thursday 9pm...
Girl 1: *on phone* Oh my gosh I'm so sorry! I was having so much fun with my boyfriend that I just-
Girl 2: Just what? Forgot the time? Forgot about your best friend? You were having so much fun you couldn't even leave me a message saying that you couldn't come!? You know what? Screw this. I'm not playing the best friend who's always there for you, because you're never there for me- and don't you dare say you will be next time. If the boyfriend you just met a month ago is more important than me, who you've known for years, then fine. Be that way. If that's what you feel is more important, then don't make any promises to me. And if I were you I'd avoid me for a few weeks, because I want to punch your face in for ditching me so many times for him. Even when you're with me, all you're doing is texting and calling him! I'm sick of this, sick of waiting for you. I should have hung out with the others instead like they told me to. And you know what hurts the most? That I still love you. I still care, and when you break up with another boyfriend, it'll be me who's always there for you, not any of them. Gimme a call when you're finally done with all this BS. I'll be waiting. But don't you dare lie to me ever again.
