Me: Hey it's Halloween! Maybe for old time's sakes I should go trick or treating one more time. I mean, I'm 17 now so I really should stop, but on the other hand, who cares if I'm 17? Some people complained about me last year since I was apparently too old to go trick or treating, but who cares about them? It's kind of embarrassing when they give me the aren't-you-too-old-for-this? look but I can so handle it... Right? Right. I am so going trick or treating this year, even if I have to go by myself.
*checks work schedule
Me: So I work 12:30pm-9:00pm, and my friends leave around 5:00pm. The perfect time to go trick or treating. Huh, is it just me or is this not a coincidence...? Well then.
Not that I'm complaining.
