The group sat around the fireplace in dead silence. The fire crackled and snapped was the only sound that came out of the lobby. The group just stared at the fire and had thoughts all to themselves.
"Hey, should we go talk to Masky?" Jane asked.
"I'd think you'd be the last person he'd want to see at this point." Clockwork remarked.
"What is that supposed to mean?" Jane asked.
"I mean you were the only one he saw. Honsetly, I wouldn't blame him if he was only angry at you." Clockwork said.
"He must've suspected we were all behind this. It wasn't like Jane had clones of herself doing this." Nurse Ann said.
"And not to mention that you agreed without hesitation. It's like you wanted to get rid of her from day one." Jane retorted.
"Hey, why don't you drink a nice cold glass of shut the fuck up." Clockwork said.
"Why you little-"
"Guys!" Kate hollered.
"This isn't the time to do something like this now. Just mind your own business please." Laughing Jack said.
The group sat in silence again. The tension between one another has settled in. Everyone thinking of how to apologize to Masky. But too scared to even look at him in the first place. It was only a matter of time so they kept thinking about what to so anyway.
Slender teleported to the lobby. Making his presence noticed as he walked behind the group.
"What's the long faces for?" Slender asked.
"Do we have to say it?" Kate asked.
"Well, I don't like seeing my family to look desperate and depressed. Tell me what happened." Slender said.
"We killed her... period." Laughing Jack said.
"Killed who?" Slender asked.
"Tisiphone..." Jeff said.
Slender and the group stared at Jeff as he walked down the stairs. He still had a wicked grin. But from the tone of his voice you can tell it was not happy.
"What was the reason for killing her?" Slender asked.
"I told you we had to get rid of her before she killed us." Nurse Ann replied.
"I thought I told you she wouldn't be a problem." Slender said.
"I heard you Slender. I just didn't obey. Because I saw more importance in protecting the family." Nurse Ann said.
"Seeing you like this or anyone like this doesn't look like you accomplished anything. Where's Masky?" Slender asked.
Nobody responded to him. They just kept staring at the fireplace. The only sound was the fire crackling continuously. Slender couldn't get mad at them. They thought of each other when it came down to it. But they didn't realize the consequences of doing so. Slender then decided to walk upstairs and into the hallway.
Slender had walked down the hallway that was illuminated by the moonlight. He noticed a blood trail leading to a room.
"Tisiphone..." Slender whispered.
As he approached the door he laid his hand on the knob. But he didn't turn it. He thought of what would be in the room when he entered. His curiosity ate away at his thoughts. But from what it looks like it thought it would be best to leave it alone. Slender let go of the knob. And stood staring at the door. Not knowing what to do next he then turned and walked back to the direction he came from. After Slender left a blue aurora of light shined under Tisiphone's door. For a couple of seconds before returning to darkness.
"No, your deceased. You aren't Tisiphone. I saw you die in front of me. It couldn't be you." Masky said.
"Masky, it's me. Don't lie to yourself. I am here blood running and breathing the same air as you, Masky." Tisiphone said.
Masky stared at Tisiphone in disbelief. He couldn't tell whether he was grieving for her was making him hallucinate or actually her. Tisiphone walked into the moonlight where her body was glowing. Her eyes still glowing with life looking at Masky.
