Andy's PoV

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

When the interveiw was over, I practically ran to Alice's room.

When I got there, a girl around Alice's age walked out with the doctor. They started talking and they looked very worried to be honest.

"What's wrong?" I asked both of them. They both turned around and stared at me.

"Alice . . . Might have Amnesia. . ." The doctor answered. "But the thing is, we didn't find anything on Amnesia in the tests. Either, she doesn't remember a single thing of her life, and it might never come back, or it'll slowly start rolling into her brain this year."

I think the world just stopped. The door to Alice's room opened from the girl that came out with the doctor, and she headed in, me following closely behind. I'm pretty sure the girl's name was Jessica, but she was only a volunteer here, and I have talked to quite a few that have been tending Alice's needs.

"She's eating so, try not to make her choke," she said, bringing me over to Alice who was eating a lot of food on a tray set over her. She was sat up and had the remote to her side while she watched the news. A commercial was on for Wendy's food.

She looked up and her eyes glistened with a kindness I'd never seen before. She also gave me a wide smile and set down her fork.

"So you must be Andy right? I saw you on the news," she said, picking up the napkin and wiping her face.

"Yeah. You watched the broadcast?"

"Yep!" She said a little sadly. "I also figured out I was in a crash. . .?" She looked down at all the bruises, scars, stitches, and cuts that lined her entire body. She was wearing one of those hospital gowns.

"Yeah. No one knows what really happened. If your memory comes back-"

"Then I can tell everyone what really happened that night," she said, cutting me off.

"Yeah. But it also tells us where the two blades, the note, and why you were gone for two hours explains how the crash came to be. They said there were to blades launched-"

"Into my lungs, and there was a bag with a small towel beside the bench I was crashed into. I was also dead for about four to ten minutes and they revived me, and from the news, you've heard me scream in my sleep, a guy named Jeremy wants to adopt me, and you love me. . ." She said the last part in a whisper.

I nodded, but stared at the floor. She really got all f that imformation in her head in just one hour of being awake?

"Where are my real parents?" She asked bluntly. I looked at her with sad eyes. These ones held a small smile in them though.

"They're at your house with the adoption agency discussing your adoption papers with Jinxx."

"Jinxx?" She asked, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"That's what everyone likes to call him. Like, my real name is Andrew but I want to be called Andy." She nodded. "And also, Christian - the person you saw on the news - is nicknamed CC."

She laughed.

"For the name of Christian Coma?"

I nodded.

"So you all are in a popular rock band?" I nodded my head again. She laughed. "So what is this thing?"

She held up a necklace that hung around her neck.

"It's a necklace your parents got you. They were leaving you for adoption because the adoption center thought you were being neglected ith your parents not around you as often at the worst parts of your life," I explained, reaching over and opening it up, showing her the picture of her parents.

She grabbed the necklace from my hand and continued to question me.

"How old am I?"

"Sixteen is what I heard. I think your birthday is coming up in five months."

"And what happened that is known from that night about the crash?"

"Well, the man who was out hunting was drunk in the wods and didn't have his car in park on the side of the road, and it crashed into you at eighty miles per hour, leaving you no chance to run. He's centencing a lot of his life in prison becauseof it, and having serious driving problems in his past and already having a poral on his case. You ran away that night because your parents had left you a note on your house's door that said about you being put up for adoption, and everyone said that you were inside for a long time and then came out running and crying."

"My house?" She asked, a little interested then the adoption thing. I think she's considering being adopted by Jinxx. . .

"Yeah. Your parents paid the whole house off. They are a lawyer and doctor and they make a lot of money." She nodded. "They are going to be sending you money until you're eighteen and want the house back in your custody. It'll be officially your's when you're eighteen."

"Do you really love me?" She asked. I was taken aback by her question. I kept opening and closing my mouth, but no wordws would ring through consiously. "I mean . . . Are we like boyfriend and girlfriend or engaged, dating, married, anything like that?"

"W-well, that night we went on our first date and almost kissed. . ." I finally spoke, but couldn't think of anything else in my case, because I was so goddamn nervous! It's getting really hot in here, and I'm pretty sure my face is red and the atmosphere is getting pretty awkward. That, and every time I look Alice, she just seems to be in thought, and doesn't look awkward at all.

"So . . . Are we still dating?" She asked again. I shrugged, trying to cool off my nervousness more.

"Only if you want to. . ."

"I think that would be awesome!" I think there was more Amnesia to her head than I thought. I thought she didn't like me that way? Damn brain! She has Amnesia! She can't remember a godamn thing!

"So, that would be a yes if I asked you to go on a second-ish date?" I asked slyly and unsure.

"Second-ish? Oh, um. . . I think we can just start from there. But I seriously want to know how our first date was!" She said. She seems a lot more happy and care-free than when she last talked. I wonder of this Amnesia is good for her. . .

"Alright," I agreed.

"Tell me, what was a like before?" She asked, kind of confused, but it was really cute. Damn brain! Even in the most awkward ituations possible, I think she's damn cute!

"Well, I know you are very good at art, and you love photography, you also have two best friends named Jamie and Journee. You have a blood-related brother named Max, and you have a friend named Kellin whose the lead singer of Sleeping With Sirens that claims himseld as your 'new brother'."

She laughed at this and I couldn't help but crack a smile.

"You also hate makeup and wearing dresses," I tried to remind her. She burst into more laughter and started to clutch her side.

"Man, I thought those pain killers would settle in by now," she heaved. I chuckled and she raised an eyebrow. "What? Do you get pleasure from my pain?"

"What?! No!" I started laughing more and she began to eat her food more when Kellin walked in.

"Fuck! She woke up and no one told me!" He walked over to Alice's side by me, and I stopped him right there.

"She has Amnesia and doesn't remember a thing about herself," I explained.

"Damnit! Why did she get Amnesia?!"

"I don't have a fudging idea, and neither do the doctors or the nurses. They're doing a scan again to figure something out, but until then, just relax and let's gather more imformation about her. Maybe she'll remember something about herself in time." He nodded and sat in the by her.

"So who are you? Kellin?" She asked suddenly.

"Um . . . Yeah. How did you know?" He asked a little shocked.

"Andy told me you are the lead singer to a band called Sleeping With Sirens, and you claimed you are now my unblood-related brother."

"And you never denied it!" He shouted out, carefully pulling his arms around her. She laughed and hugged him back carefully. When they pulled apart Kellin spoke again. "Did Andy also tell you that he's been stalking you while you sleep for the past month? He hasn't left this hospital room until today, or to go down to the cafeteria to eat," he whispered. She glanced at me and chuckled, and I smacked the back of Kellin's head.

"Hey! Watch it! I'm here with my wife and kids! Don't mess me up or they won't think I'm me!" I laughed.

"Katelynn and your kids are here?"

"Yes, and I'd rather not be deformed by your hand, thank you very much!" He sighed and got out of the chair and fell onto the bed. I sat in the chair, and Alice patted my head.

"We don't need another person in this room to have Amnesia, so I suggest you not go to jail either by deforming his brain." Me and Kellin laughed and Alice joined in after.

About ten minutes later, Jessica came in and sat by Alice and starting chewing on the mac and cheese.

"Hey! That is my mac and cheese!" Alice screamed playfully, smacking Jessica's arm and taking the bowl back.

"Sorry! But you have to admit, the cafeteria here makes good food. By the way, you want another cupcake or a cookie. . .?"

"Can I have two cupcakes and a chocolate chip cookie?"

"Yeah. They have like so much cupcakes left over and they're finally handing out the chef's famous chocolate chip cookies. Be back in a sec!" She scurried out of the room and down to the elevator and we could heard Kellin snoring on the bed. Me and Alice chuckled, and I think this is a sign that maybe I have a bigger shot with Alice now than then.
