Alice's P.O.V
I woke up to the pitter-patter of rain beating down on my window. Thunder crashed in the distance, making me open my eyes. I rolled around to face the window, only to realize it was 2:30 in the morning. Sighing, I sat up and looked around the room, only to be met with emptiness. Where did Max, Journee, and Jamie go?It was then I remembered they were staying in the guest bedrooms across the hall. With another sigh, I was about to go back to sleep under the softness of the blankets when I heard a knock at the door. Jumping up, I grabbed the bat that lay under my bed and I slowly creeped closer to the door.
Letting out a shaky breath, I swung the door open, bat ready. I guess I scared him, because he clamped his palm over his mouth and let out a muffled scream.
Groaning, I dropped the bat next to the door and sighed.
"God, you scared me!" I whisper-yelled at him. He finally calmed down and straightened up, his breathing still ragged from the scare he just witnessed in.
"I scared you?" He questioned me, before letting out a solemn laugh. I laughed along with him and pushed my sleepy body against the open door warily.
"Why are you up so late, Andy?" I asked him. He let out a shrug before leaning against the frame. He was so close to me, his breath fanned my forehead.
He let out a wary sigh before answering, "You know I can't sleep very well anymore, Alice." I nodded, but it made me think: can he not sleep, because of me? I couldn't imagine why, I mean...I don't know why me being in a coma would make him sleep less every day.
I gestured for him to come in and he trudged in, laying himself on my comfortably messed-up bed spread. He patted the spot next to him with a breathless smile. I chuckled under my breath before walking over. I slipped my back onto the sheets like he did and just stared up at the ceiling, my feet dangling off the edge of the bed.
It was a long time before Andy actually spoke, and when he did, I think it surprised him more than me.
"Alice. . . ?" I looked over at him with my full attention before he went on, "Can I kiss you?" His eyes bulged out, probably mirroring my actions. I looked the other way, hoping that he wouldn't be able to see the blush that cornered my cheeks.
"It's alright if you don't want to; I didn't mean to ask that and you don't have to if you don't want to-" He rambled on. I couldn't help but let out a laugh at this. It obviously caught his attention because he stopped talking all together.
"It's alright Andy . . . You just caught me by surprise is all." I saw his tired eyes fill with amusement at my sudden embarrassment and for that, I slapped his arm really hard. It seemed to not have fazed him, and if anything, I think it just tickled him; I mean, after I hit him, he let out ticklish laughs.
I shook my head at him and watched him calm down before I realized he was staring back at me. I finally noticed how blue his eyes were; they reminded me of the sky when you would look at a cloudy day; his eyes were dark, but cloudy . . . Almost misty-like. And they stared into my light brown ones with such care. I couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking.
"You can kiss me if you want," I suddenly blunted out. Andy smirked. His hand glided across the covers to my cheek that was now burning a dark crimson red. His fingertips brushed gently over my cheek affectionately while his body started to move closer and closer to mine. I turned my body so both of our heads were touching and I felt my eyes drift down slowly as did his. His breath fanned my lips, almost teasingly now that I think about it. I bet a million dollars he was smirking at this moment. And then, his lips slowly pressed against mine.
It started out slowly, with me being shocked that his move came so quickly at first. Then I started to move my lips in sync with his and it went all uphill from there; he climbed on top of me slowly and gripped both of my hips while his knees were straddling me.
I felt his lip ring, cold and shocking on my lower lip. He slid the tip of his tongue over my bottom lip, asking permission, and of course, I granted it by slowly opening my mouth wider. His tongue slid in and slowly explored everywhere by first going over my teeth, to the side of my cheek, to the roof of my mouth. When he pulled his tongue back into his mouth, I took a shot at it and bit down in his lip ring, tugging on it slowly with my teeth. This caused him to pull away from me and make an indifferent sound.
Oh God . . . Did I just make Andy moan? I didn't have time to think about it before his lips made their way back to mine, connecting us in a special way. Before anything else could happen, I slipped my tongue into his mouth without asking and did the same notions he had done earlier, accept I tried to make it more intense.
His tongue battled against mine for dominance and he ended up winning, but instead pulled away from my mouth, our breaths heavy and out of it. He started kissing down my jaw and traced up to my cheek with soft butterfly kisses. He made his way down my jawline to my neck and I could feel my eyes fluttering at the movement he was making. His hands moved further to the sinking part of my waist and he found a spot on my neck where he kissed that made me gasp.
Wait, I just- I what?
His tongue slipped over the spot which made me pull my mouth into a thin, straight line to keep in any other noise from escaping me. Andy kept sucking on the spot and I shivered when he made contact to my skin with his wet tongue. His lip ring was as cold too, being metal and pressing up right on my collarbone, just under Andy's teeth. Andy bit the spot and I let out another incoherent gasp when I felt my face heat up.
Before anything else could happen, there was a crash downstairs.
