Chapter 23

Rohan's P.O.V

"Rohan!" I froze. It was Heer. As soon as I turned around there was no one there, did I imagine that?
Suddenly two hands slipped around my chest. I felt safe and happy being in that position.

I faced her and there she was, laughing so innocently, looking just like and angel in her white lehenga. She jumped into my arms and hugged me tightly.

"What are you doing here?" She asked, pulling away, but keeping her arms on mu shoulders. I need to make an excuse.

"I, um...uncle, um,err invited me." I stuttered, she had no idea that I was his son, she giggled and kissed my cheek. I looked at her and got lost in her eyes, completely.

Naina's P.O.V

What was I doing? I have Rohan! He is my husband, yet here I was with another man, who loves me and even though I can't admit it to him and I don't want to admit it to myself, I had to accept that I had fallen for him. Hard!

I walked to the entrance of the hotel, because I needed to get away from all of these people. I started walking, trying to catch my breath, I kept walking and once I had caught my breath, it was suddenly ripped out.

There in front of my was my husband with his arms wrapped around another woman, yet his eyes were locked with mine!

Rohan's P.O.V

I stared in shock as Naina's figure emerged in the distance. She looked like she was talking or thinking to herself, she looked confused, as if she was reassuring herself about something. But as soon as she looked up, I saw the shock and hurt in her eyes. She knows!

My arms dropped to my sides, which made Heer pull away.

"What happened?" She asked, her voice wringing with worry. I couldn't look at her. Her eyes followed mine, until she was also looking at Naina!

"Naina! Hi, come here, meet Rohan!" She called, waving.
I could see her break from the inside, what had I done!?
I held Heer's hand down, she looked at me in confusion.

"Rohan, are you okay? Do you already know Naina?" I nodded and looked over at Naina, who still had her eyes fixed on me. I had to tell her, there was no point hiding it.

"She is my wife" I said softly. He hand slowly slipped out of mine and suddenly it all came rushing back. Everything around me froze.

My nightmare was coming true!

"Rohan?" Heer asked in disbelief, before running off, I tried to go after her, but she was gone by then.
I ran over to Naina.

"Naina, please I'm so sor-'' but she pit her hand up to stop me.

"How could you? I loved you, and you returned it by doing this." Her eyes were puffy and red. It was all my fault.

Naina's P.O.V

"Naina im so sorry!" He begged, however I couldn't forgive him.

"You are a bad person! You betrayed Heer and I. You don't understand how I feel right now! I left my whole family to be with you! You know they never wanted me to marry a punjabi, but I was so in love with you that I left them! Well look at where we are now!" I screamed, while hot tears stained my cheeks.

"Naina, please don't say that! Please trust that I stopped speaking to Heer, on the day we left india." He said, pleading his case.

"Oh so that makes it okay! Everyday you give your father a hard time about what he did mum, when your just like him!" I screamed!

"NAINA!!!" He bellowed, causing me to flinch.

I couldn't do this, I no longer had any energy within me. I turned from him a nd ran and ran and ran.
I kept in sprinting away in my lehenga until I was stood a few metres away from him.

"Prem!" I sobbed. I ran and jumped into his arms, Completing it with a kiss!
