Chapter 16

Kavya's P.O.V

As soon as I reached home I changed my clothes and dialed Aayush's number.
While it was ringing Nia came in. I gestured her to come in and then I put the phone on speaker.

"Hello?" He answered.

"Hi Aayush! It's me Kavya." I said excitedly. It has been so long since I had seen him, because when I left for India he wasn't in London.

"Kavya? Oh my god, are you okay. I came back and you weren't anywhere." He said very quickly, without taking a breath.

"Chill okay, I'm fine, I'm in India, visiting my dad."

"Oh your dad. Hey, um I heard about what happened to aunty. I'm really sorry." I smiled at the phone, when a tear fell from eye, just then Nia held onto my hand. I smiled at her. Aayush was one of my best friends, so he used to come to my house a lot for dinner and he even stayed at my house during bhai's wedding. He was really close to my mum as well.

"Don't worry about it, she is in a better place, you know how sick she was." I said, wiping away my tears.

"Yeh. Er so how are you doing?"

"I'm great, actually I need a favour from you?" I explained to him our plan and he agreed, saying that he would catch tonight's flight.

"Let's go down and eat dinner now."Nia said, getting up from the bed. Nia went down first, so that no one would suspect that we were friends.
I joined the dinner table, sitting next to babhi. Once everyone had joined the table, we started eating.

"Rinki has decided that she wants to have her wedding in Turkey, and we will be flying to Istanbul tomorrow morning, so i want you all packed." Papa announced, I choked on my food and started coughing uncontrollably. Babhi gave me some water, which stopped the coughing.

"Are you okay?" Bhai asked and I nodded, smiling.
I looked over at Nia and she mouthed 'what's wrong?'. I messaged her to, meet me in my room after dinner.

After dinner

I was pacing around my room when Nia walked in.

"What happened?" She asked unaware of the huge problem.

"We are going to turkey tomorrow." I said, throwing my arms in the air. She nodded oblivious to what was happening.

"Nia! Aayush is already on a plane to India and the wedding is in Turkey the place we are leaving for tomorrow morning." I shouted. She looked shocked.

"Oh my god, what are we going to do?" Really? Is that what she asked?

"I don't know. If I knew would I be freaking out?" I shouted, feeling agitated.
I grabbed my phone and called Aayush, but he wasn't picking up.

"One of us should stay back. Then whoever stays back can tell Aayush what happened and can also fly to Istanbul with him." Nia said calmly.

"Okay, that's good, but then who is going to stay back and who is Aayush going to be. We can't introduce his as my friend. I mean why would invite someone to my half - sisters wedding, especially when everyone knows that we don't exactly see eye to eye." I said to her.

"He could be Ajay's cousin." She said.

"Yeh but then who is gonna stay back, I mean Ajay can't because it's his wedding." We sat thinking for a while.

"Me."
"Karan." We both said at the same time.

"You?" I asked.

"Well yeah, I mean it's not like mom or Rinki will disagree. They will probably prefer if I come late." I gulped the awkward air that suddenly flew by.

"Oh okay, well I thought Karan because well, I just think if he stays nothing will be suspected." I said and also notice her expression weaken.

"Okay then, how about you both stay back?" I asked.

Nia's P.O.V

"Okay then, how about you both stay back?" My heart rate was suddenly racing 5 times faster than normal.
Me. And. Karan. Together. Alone. In. India.
It was a recipe for disaster but it sounded good to me. I nodded casualy so that Kavya didn't suspect anything. I just hope that Meera has no objection to it.

"Um Kavya, please don't tell anyone that I'm staying back, the only reason I'm staying is so that I can get away from Rinki." I half lied. She nodded and I left the room smiling.

Kavya's P.O.V

After Nia left I called Meera to tell her about our plan, minus the fact that Nia was also staying and she agreed.

I then started packing my bags with clothes, toiletries, makeup, jewellery and all of my clothes for the wedding, along with other essentials, including shoes.

"Kavya have you finished packing?" Bhabi asked, walking in and sitting on the bed.
It was currently 11:30 pm and I was sitting at my desk reading wattpad.

"Yeh, it's getting late. I should go to bed." I said getting into my bed. She kissed me on the forehead and left the room. I fell asleep dreading this trip in front of us.

Um guys who else has seen the trailer for Tamasha, cuz I saw it and I was in love.

First Ranbir looks so hot in the trailer!

When I first watched YJHD I was amazed! When I found out about tamasha, I was kinda like, oh cool! But I didn't think they would be able to match what they pulled of in YJHD!
However when I saw the trailer, it's like YJHD in reverse, bit I think it will be just as amazing!

So I think that the roles have reversed, in trailer it looks like Deepika or Tara is the outgoing free flying character and Ranbir or Ved Or Don which ever is the calm collected, sensible one, I need to watch the movie to understand how his character changes and I hope you guys go and watch it when it comes out!

OK back to the story, I know this chapter was kinda boring, it was a filler!
