Authors P.O.V

Everyone was helping with the preparations for the lohri fire later.

Kavya, Naina and Meera were choosing clothes to wear and decorating around the area that the fire would be placed.

Rinki, Nia and Heer were helping Jasmeet set out the popcorn and different snacks to throw in the fire and eat.

Rohan, Ajay, Karan and Vikram were helping around doing all the lifting and things like that.

Rohan's P.O.V

I went to the house to collect some more things when I saw that girl again. She was with Nia and she looked beautiful in a lehengha(indian dress).

She glanced over to me and smiled. Wow she was so beautiful, the way her hair fell perfectly over her shoulders and the way she walked.
I went in and got what I needed and returned to the area where the fire was going to be.

Rohan what is wrong with you. Your married to Naina, the most beautiful girl in the world. You need to stop thinking about her.

Heer's P.O.V

As I came down after getting ready with Nia I saw a guy smiling at me. I had seen him around before and it was so sweet the way he smiled so I smiled back.

After everything was done Nia, Rinki, Aunty and I drove down to the lohri fire area.

I saw the same boy sitting with Karan. He was so handsome close up. I just couldn't take my eyes off of him and from what I could see he was going through the same thing.

Soon everyone went over as the fire started. The whole time he was smiling at me causing butterflies all around my body, I just wanted to walk around the fire in his arms.

Naina's P.O.V

When me Kavya and Meera reached the fire area I went to look for Rohan, but I couldn't find him anywhere.

The fire started so I went to look for him so he would walk around with me, but he was nowhere. I can understand that he might not want to be here but he can't just not come. It's a tradition that he has to fulfill.

"Naina bety, what are you doing here?" I turned around and saw papa. Yes I have decided to start calling him that.

"Oh I was just looking for Rohan." I said, hoping he had seen him.

"Rohan? I saw him with Karan a while ago, but then he walled away from her." My heart sunk. I nodded and walked back in. I started filling up the plates with popcorn when I collided with a girl sideways.

"Oh sorry." She said. I recognised her as one of Nia's friends.

"No im sorry. By the way I'm Naina." I put my hand out and shook her hand.

"Nice to meet you im Heer. I haven't seen you around here before." She said sweetly.

"Oh im from London. I'm Nia's ba-" But I was interrupted by Nia who pulled heer away, with her shouting bye.

Kavya's P.O.V

As everyone was having fun I walked to the other side of the field to sit down and be alone.

I saw papa walking around the fire with Nia and Rinki. Mum used to tell me how her dad would lift her on his shoulder and walk around the fire, that's something that will probably never happen to me.

She also told me that her and dad would walk hand in hand around this very fire. It made me sick that he was able to go around it with another woman, without regretting how he betrayed my mother.

I went closer and sat down watching Karan hold Meera like a bride and walk around as she threw popcorn in it. She was laughing, while he was enjoying the sound of her laughter.

"Cute couple right." I heard someone say as they sat besides me startling me. I'm not sure how, but I knew it was Ajay without having to look up.

"Yeh they really are." I replied.

Ajay's P.O.V

I was walking around when I saw Kavya sitting watching Karan and Meera.

"Cute couple right." I said as I sat by her shocking her a bit.

"Yeh they really are." She said with a smile.

For a while there was silence.

"So how are you enjoying lohri here." I said breaking the silence.

"Oh it's fun but I don't have anyone to walk around the fire with. I mean bhai and bhabi, well I can't find them." She said still watching the fire.

"Well what about your dad." Then she shook her head and look at me with a smile. Wow that smile could make me go crazy. What is happening?

"He is not really the first person I want to go to right now." I smiled understanding what she meant.

Aaaaaaaaaggghh I didnt know what to do. She was still smiling at the fire longing for someone to walk around it with.

I just grabbed her hand and started walking.

"Ajay what are you doing let me go." I took her straight to the fire, lifted her in my arms and walked around the fire.

She was smiling and laughing in a way I had never seen before. She was so beautiful and it made me feel so good knowing that I had caused it.

Rinki's P.O.V

I was watching Karan and Meera walk around the fire, when suddenly out of nowhere Ajay walked around the fire with Kavya in his arms.

My blood was boiling. He was supposed to love me. But maybe I was over thinking. He was probably feeling sorry for her. He told me that he loved me. He broke up with me for no reason. He still loves me.

Kavya's P.O.V

As we finished going around I hugged Ajay and thanked him.

"No problem. Hey are you busy tomorrow." He asked while scratching his neck.

"No. Why?"

"Well I thought that I could give you a tour of the village. If you want." Aww he is too sweet.

"Sure I would love to. Pick me up at 9 o'clock?"

"Great see you then. I gotta go bye. "

"Bye. " I shouted back.

That night I had the best sleep ever.

I know you guys are gonna be angry with Rohan, well I'm angry too.

Alright now I'm going off topic but has anyone heard Lady Gaga's song 'Till it happens to you'.
I'm not really a fan of her voice but when I heard the song, I was speachless, really.

Now the song is about a rape, a very big issue everywhere and a sensitive topic, I think that's why people are liking this song. If you haven't heard please listen to it, it's great.
