~Chapter 1~
Well let me introduce myself. My name is Paige and I have quite a story to tell. I can tell you few things. I have a very amazing boyfriend, I had a very amazing best friend, and I have an amazing life right now. But remember key words, my friends. Had and right now. In the past and as of presant. Things change in the matter of seconds, minutes, hours, and days. So let me start a few hours ahead of that moment that took so much away from me...
Burmington Highschool School 2:19 PM...
"Paige!!" I turned around to get hit with arms around my waist and met with lips on mine. I loved these lips. The lips I kiss every day. "I missed you" He whispered after pulling awhile slightly.
I looked at him with a smile on my face. "Alec. You just saw me last period." I laughed, turning away, walking down the school hallways beside him. It was finally the end of the day and Friday. Thank you God!
"Yeah but that feels like forever." He pretended to be hurt. He had black hair that reminded my of the night everytime I looked at him and deep chocolate colored eyes. He's handsome, cute, sexy, whatever you want to call it. But I'm not the kind of person that looks for that. I found him special. He is just a really sweet guy that would do anything for me. And I’d gladly do anything for him.
"Your such a drama queen" I laughed opening my locker and he leaned on the one next to it smirking.
"No my love I am the drama king and you, my lady, are my queen" He said in his fake accent, it sucked, but I still laughed.
"Yeah your probably right" I kissed his cheek and he kissed my lips.
"Ugh! Do you two even stop being lovey dovey for like 5 minutes? Gag me!" Candy ruined our moment, as usual. Attitude, blonde, tanned, cheerleader, "Oh I'm so perfect thoughts" cheerleader. Okay not all cheerleaders are like that, but she was. Yet, we are friends. I mean I love the girl to death but her 'miss perfectness' gets annoying.
"Aww Candy you know your jealous of my man" I teased her.
She snorted. "As if. Your man is a loser." She put her finger and a thumb on her forehead to make an 'L'
"Candy I am not a loser" Alec said laughing a little. I think after the first week or so of us dating and her doing this he got over her not liking him. It bothers me of course because I really like Alec and she doesn't like him. I think if she did they'd be friend and we could all hang out, but as you can see that's obviously not happening.
"Really? Oh wait you’re not a loser because your dating my best friend which makes you who you are. Yeah put that in your juice box and suck it."
"Oh I love how my boyfriend and friend get along so well. Just joy." I said with a fake sweetened voice with sarcasm dripping from it. Okay it really bothers me they don't get along.
She rolled her eyes.
"Hey I gotta go kay" Alec smiled and kissed my cheek."I love you"
"I love you too" I smiled back at him.
"Like I said gag me!" He turned and walked through the doors and outside. "Any way Paige are you and Alec still coming to Kristen’s party?" She asked and I frowned at the name.
"No" I said flat out and closed my locker. So I started walking out to my car.
"Why??" She whined behind me just as a pushed open the door to outside.
"Because I hate her and you know that good and well." I said.
"But I don't want to show up alone without my friend"
