CHAPTER 1

it all started out a few years ago when Seventeen first debuted.

"Ya! get it right. play" i restarted the dance in frustration. Probably because of the upcoming exams, the whole team was stressed out and couldn't grasp the feeling and moves of "Adore You" by Seventeen. "Give them a break," Gina, my best friend, said, "Right 30 minutes break. Buck up 7 Seas, recording's next week." I sighed. The team hasn't been performing very well since the start of the year as everyone was trying to adjust to the new schools and their schedules and the vigorous trainings i planned out for them. Our team was specially made for kpop groups to be at ease when they visited Singapore on world trips. We designed special only Singapore merchandise, organised fan chants and gave out tickets through our own website. We met up with groups to keep them updated of their popularity in Singapore. We also did dance covers and always appeared in After School Club till Eric and Jimin could recognise us.

So, we were supposed to record our version's dance cover for "Adore You" but the team wasn't in the right shape so i didn't know whether we could record. If we didn't we will be behind schedule and if we behind schedule.... thousands of dark thoughts filled my mind. Unable to take it, i sat near the mirrors and shut my eyes, hoping to shut out the stress that had begun to set in.

2 weeks later, we were in the practice room dancing and choreographing when i got a phone call.

"Anneong, 7 seas-imida. How can i help?"

"Hi, is that 7 seas? Well, Seventeen is having their very own fan-and-idol interaction program and it's running for 2 months. We thought of you and want to invite you to participate in it. Of course, there's a lot to settle and consent from your parents is a must. We were just wondering if your schedules were okay with it." The caller went straight to point and we got down to business.

"Oh, i see. When will it start?" I shivered with excitement but i managed to keep my screams and disbelief down. The team crowded round to see what exactly was happening.

"November to December. Does it clash with any of your schedules?"

'No. Thank you so much!!!!"

"Right, great. We will send you an email. Please anticipate."

I ended the call and legit screamed my lungs out. With looks of disbelief facing me, i explained the situation in detail, my voice quivering from shock and excitement
