2 years later

"GODDAMNIT CANT U JUST WAKE UP???!!! GINa ah, cant you just #$^)*^%@$%^&&^ WAKE UP? We're very late for work," I screamed at the sleeping beauty. For goodness sake, every morning I have to repeat this wholeeee cycle of waking her up, dragging her to eat breakfast, bathe and THEN rush for the bus.

"I'm awake already, stop screaming like a mad woman. Where are the rest?" Gina yawned, eyes half opened. "They are either in school or work. Unless you're hinting to me Sharlotte had some how manage to creep underneath the school fence and gone to macs. If not, the rest are all already in their offices and WE"RE NOT." "We don't even work in a office. More like a restaurant," Gina mumbled.

We reached the restaurant, gotten a lecture from our boss and started the day by cleaning up the whole place. As interns, we got the lowest salary jobs; like washing dishes, clearing dishes, moping the place. An occasional serving of dishes was considered a privilenge.

And so the day went on, rushing about with the dishes, trying hard not to slip and fall on the greasy flooor and not crash into costumers.

"HEY YOU! What's your name again? Autumn?" My boss scrunched up his face, trying to recall my name. Like yes, my name is weird and all, but being here for 3 months and you can't remember my name??

"Winter," I replied evenly.

"Right aut--- whatever it is, we have VIPs, set up the VIP tables, they will be here in a few moments. Hurry up." I quickly dunk the dishes in to the dishwasher and grabbed the cutlery before quickly esembling the table for the VIPs.

I gently placed the beautiful half white, half red rose on the top and took a step back, pleased with my work. I glanced at the half-white, half-red rose and it reminded me of a puzzle. And how its pieces are the only ones that can fit perfectly with each other. Even a replica of a puzzle can never allow the pieces to fit as perfectly together as compared to when pieced with its original pieces. My thoughts trailed back to that dark, dark, day...

<FLASHBACK>

"Miss Winter?"

"Yes?" I asked suspiciously. The number was from an unknown.

"Yes, this is Pledis agency, Seventeen's manager."

Oh.

"The company has decided that the members arent allowed to date; seeing from how distracted THE8 has been." The owner of the voice smoothly continued.

I gulped, and the words I didn't want to hear was spoken by the manager.

"An article will be released today on your breakup. The company will like to inform you that this is to happen as well in real life. We have already changed THE8's number and you are not to be in contact with him anymore. If you're to make a scene, we will not gurantee the safety of those around you. That is all. And thank you for your time." Beep. Beep. The same noise as monitor calculating  my heart beats. Beep. Beep.

"The ViPs are here, hurry and make yourself dissapear from the room, quickly." The manager whispered urgently. Nodding, I scrurried to the kitchen. On the way, I bumped into some costumer. Great, now I'll get another complaint.

"Sorry about that.."

"No its..." The famiiliar voice trailed off.

I looked up and all I saw was the same dark eyes that I once got lost in; the same cheek that shared my tears; the same lips that make me forget my pain; and more painfully and heart-wrenching, the same person who stole my heart .

"Minghao..."

"Winter..."
