CHAPTER 5

After a while, I stood up and exited the bathroom. The room was silent besides the periodically wheezing of Gina. I tumbled on top of the bed and tossed and turn. I just couldn't slip into the darkness and into dream village. I sighed, got my coat and dressed up, got my headphones and headed out. I quickened my steps as I approached the practice room. These nights happened often even back home and I also could let go of the stress through dancing. The dorr creaked as it opened. Someone was already present in the room. The8 was doing some showy b-boy moves. He noticed the shivering me hesitating at the door. Waving his hand motioning me to enter, I collasped on the couch and watched as he continued to finish his dance rountine.

"Couldn't sleep? Me too." I nodded.

"Want to try out my dance routine? I could teach you some moves that ae esential to kpop dances too." I said nothing but got up and prepared for him to teach me. Teaching me and teaching me, sweat, laughter, conversations... the night went on and I sub-conciously collasped onto the couch and slipped into the impatiently waiting dream-land.

I woke up to a cold hand lightly brushing across my cheeks. I opened my eyes. THE8 looked at me and quickly retreated his hand, blushing. Avoiding all eye contact, I tapped my phone screen. OH.MYGoSH. 8.30am! 7 Seas recording was at 9am! I looked straight into his eyes and asked him "WHY DIDN'T U WAKE ME UP EARLIERRR??" THE8 lowered his eyes and whispered,"you looked tired, I decided to let you sleep awhile longer. Sorry." "nevermind.." I rushed right out of the room and into my dorm.

"ARE U SERIOUS??? You and The8 in one room, alone TOGETHER? Sweetheart, how ooolllld are you,' Gina sighed and looked at me with disbelief as I related my story to her. "I know... I don't know. It was kinda nice though. We respected each other. We had fun. I was really happy," I said my eyes lower. Before Gina coud speak, the door banged open and in Sophie marched in "I don't think you want to join us in the dining hall for breakie then ?" We laughed and made our way to the dining hall.
