"Here are your dorms. Seventeen's one is just next door. I'll have to go back soon so if you have any problems with anything, you can contact them with the housephone. The practice rooms are on the left. Remember to be at the shoot venue at 8.30 am tommorow. Good night." With that, the manager left. The 7 Seas members were screaming and shouting and running about, seeing which room is the prettiest. I smiled. We definitely deserved a break. No recordings in a while...

Gina chose the room right smack in the middle so that we could supervise the rest and make sure noone gets drunk and falls off a cliff or anything. I tumbled onto my bed getting myself comfortable. Just then, Miranda came in."Unnie! Wanna go out. Some nice eateries out there. We are going in five minutes." Miranda chimed and slipped out silently. I sighed, put on my coat and clicked off the lights, allowing Gina to fall into deep sleep. Too bad I can't do that. Although not the oldest, I'm definitely given the responsibility to entertain the younger ones. Oh well. If seventeen went, I think it would be a lot more fun though. Just then, I started thinking about my encounter with The8. I couldn't help but start blushing.

"What's wrong unnie? You feeling unwell? You can always tell us, you don't have to go," Sophia piped out, concerned at the sight of my cheeks turning red. "OH no, let's go," I rushed in embarrasment.

"Also ah unnie," Sharlotte commented, "Seventeen coming. At least some are. Dokyum, Hoshi, Jihoon, Vernon, Joshua, The8 and Jun are coming." She said in an off-handly manner as if it didn't seem to matter much.

"The8?" "Yea, hurry they are they are waiting outside."

We got out of the dorm as I locked the door (Gina has a weird habit of sleep-walking and walking OUT of the house) Seventeen whispered a friendly hello, so as to not disturb the rest of the sleeping members. It was already 12;30am, I wasn't even fully awake, but guess who has to babysit the young ones? Unlucky me. I trudged behind the chattery lot who were laughing and joking around with mood-makers Dokyum and Hoshi. Meanwhile, Jenna was having a deep conversation on some piano piece with Jihoon, Vernon and Joshua were just hanging around with Sharlotte and Miranda as they tried beatboxing. Jun and The8 were at the back talking a little at times with Vernon and Joshua. I walked alone, with my headphones on, one eye watching over the kids and one eye on the beautiful scenery that stretched ahead of me. The peaceful, serene, windy night some how kept me awake and comforted me.

"Anneong, are you ok?"

I looked up and looked right into The8 concerned, soulful eyes and smiled. Then, I decided to do something a little cheekier.

"Ni ne? Ni hai hao ba." How about you, are you ok? I spoke chinese, my mother tongue language, fluently. I saw his eyes widen in disbelief. I smiled and walked past him, sastified I had surprised him.

"deng yi xia, ni shi ze me zhi dao ze me shuo hua wen de ne?" wait a minute, how did you know how to speak chinese

I smile and shrugged. "You're different from the rest," The8 said. I merely nodded. I don't really answer questions or even speak to strangers. Yes, this is an idol but I don't know him and vice-versa. He quickened his pace and looked at me in the eye. His eyes spoke a thousand words: this is a beginning to something.
