*~Maddie~*

I was smiling like crazy. Me and Riley get to live our summer at our cousin's! Our famous cousin who happened to be in the best band of the century! Harry Styles is officially my favorite cousin in, you know, the world. And Dad's letting us too! He figures that we could spend the summer getting to know the place, and that as long as we didn't do anything irresponsible, we could spend a whole three months with him! My older sister lives there, anyway, so now we get to see her!

I woke up to find myself passed out on the couch. I didn't recognize where I was, until I remembered that I was staying at my cousin's and my sister's place for the summer. They gave me a room, I had just been far too tired to walk up the stairs, and the couch didn't seem so far away. Whatever, I'll sleep in a bed tonight, right now I'm starving, and I can't even remember where the kitchen is.

Riley is on the loveseat, eyes closed and mouth slightly open. She must've gone to sleep after me, but obviously decided against sleeping in our room. I wonder what had made her make that decision. Eh, not like it really mattered right? It wouldn't make a very big difference in our lives if I didn't know that, even though the question was gnawing at my mind, giving me a headache while I thought of it.

Meanwhile, I searched around for the kitchen; it didn't take long, because it was right next to the living room. The place was literally packed with food; I grabbed myself a bowl of cereal, an apple, some kiwi, two slices of toast, a few eggs, and some orange juice. Amazingly, or well, not to be, but to them it would've been, I wasn't full at all, but I decided to put off raiding their kitchen until lunch, so those guys had better beware, they're lucky if they're left with any food at all. Well, unless they have string cheese, that's one of the few foods I don't like.

After eating, I trudged up the stairs, and peered into the room that was chosen to be Riley's and mine for the summer. It was awesome, half of the room was green, obviously my side, the other half yellow, and it couldn't have been made more obvious who got which side, because our names were painted on the walls. My goodness, I wonder how long it took for them to do all this? This is absolutely stunning! And huge, let's not forget huge.

Once I fell onto the bed there was no getting up. It was a water-bed that was very, very comfortable. I fell asleep almost instantly, spread out like a star on my bed, my back to the ceiling. I was exhausted, despite the big breakfast, and the long sleep. I was amazed, actually, I didn't expect the bed to be so comfortable, and it must've cost a lot. But why would they spend all that money just for Riley and me? We weren't exactly important people you had to impress to, like, get a job or something; we were your cousins, or sisters, that were staying over for the summer. For the majority of the household we weren't even that, we were just two teenage girls, who could control themselves long enough to not scream in their faces.

I woke up at 12:37. Before, I had been awake at six in the morning, my earliest time up ever. I was a bit groggy, but prepared for a nice, short day that hopefully didn't require very much energy. The boys were the ones to wake me up, my cousin, Harry was actually jumping on my bed, singing Time To Get Up, a song that I found tremendously hilarious except for that moment right there.

"Shut up! I'm trying to sleep! It's only 12:30!" I whined, crawling under the blankets and stuffing my face into my pillows. "I refuse to get up until one! Jump on the bed, then! Not now!"

Okay, so I know I said I was prepared for the day, and I was, it was just that I didn't want to get up. That was my least favorite part of sleeping- the part where you had to wake up. "Fine," Harry said, "If that's how you want it." I sighed in relief, but I should've known he was just bluffing, he left me alone for five seconds, before he began screaming in my ear, "Up! Up! Up!" over and over and over and over again.
