*~Maddie~*

I'd been in that hospital for just a few days, and would be allowed to go home at the end of the week. Apparently, I lived my cousin and my sister for the summer, which meant the other four boys. I'd learned that the brown-haired boy's name was Lucas, but I liked to call him Luke as it was shorter and he didn't look much like a Lucas.

"Maddie, are you excited to get out of this place?" Luke asked, walking absent-mindedly around my room; he didn't have to be here, so he wasn't dressed in his nurse-like uniform, but he was in his regular clothes. His brown hair was messy, because it just didn't want to calm down that morning.

"The white hurts my eyes," I stated, "I really hope my room doesn't have so much . . . white in it. I don't remember it at all."

"You should soon enough- your memory loss is only temporary, you should have a good majority of your memories recovered in a month or so," he said. "Well, I was talking to your cousin this morning before he came in to visit. Guess what he said?"

"Um . . . 'Hi' is my first guess," I replied.

"He knows how much you like to play guitar, and look what he brought," he took out my guitar from behind a table, and I beamed at him: He laughed and showed his shining white teeth once more, which he did often.

"My guitar!" I shrieked, "Give it! Give me my guitar!" He handed over the guitar hastily, but carefully, and continued to laugh.

"Can you play?" he asked.

"Why else would I have a guitar? What's your favorite song?" I asked.

"Do you know "One More Night" by Maroon 5?" Luke requested. I smiled and nodded, recalling the song and all the notes to use.

"You and I go hard at each other like we're going to war.

You and I go rough, we keep throwing things and slamming the door.

You and I get so damn dysfunctional, we stopped keeping score.

You and I get sick, yeah, I know that we can't do this no more.

Yeah, but baby there you go again, there you go again, making me love you.

Yeah, I stopped using my head, using my head, let it all go.

Got you stuck on my body, on my body, like a tattoo.

And now I'm feeling stupid, feeling stupid, crawling back to you.

So I cross my heart and I hope to die

That I'll only stay with you one more night

And I know I said it a million times

But I'll only stay with you one more night

Try to tell you "no" but my body keeps on telling you "yes".

Try to tell you "stop", but your lipstick got me so out of breath.

I'll be waking up in the morning, probably hating myself.

And I'll be waking up, feeling satisfied but guilty as hell."

He started singing backup, and he had a very nice voice.

"Yeah, but baby there you go again, there you go again, making me love you.

(Making me love you)

Yeah, I stopped using my head, using my head, let it all go.

(I let it all go)

Got you stuck on my body, on my body, like a tattoo.
