I felt as if I had been much too quiet since Harry decided to ask Maddie and Riley to spend the summer here, and they came along. So  I decided to throw them a party; sort of a going-away party for their brothers and their dad as well, due to them leaving soon. Only Louis, Zayn, and I even knew about it, so it would be a surprise for everyone. I sent everyone to the park or wherever they decided to go when I kicked them out for the day.

"Liam William Payne! What are you doing! Get your hands off of me," Megan complained. She looked seriously angry and that murderous look in her eyes was sort of scaring me, so I did take my hands off of her shoulders. I absentmindedly wiped them along my jeans. "Why are you kicking us out?"

"Due to the fact that it's really warm outside. Come home if it starts to rain though, I hear there's supposed to be a storm. Bye-bye, now," Louis explained, guiding Riley out. "Watch out, there also might be a tornado. In which case you should get your butts down here as fast as possible and race to the basement. First one down gets two pieces of cake instead of one. Oh, don't look so down Niall, you too Maddie. You guys will get three each if either of you win."

"Four," Niall said, objecting to Louis' argument. "Four or we don't come home at all." Maddie nodded silently, a wild grin on her face. Her gleeful look and nearly everyone else's made me smile, at least these people were happy. Too bad Maddie and Riley only had a little over two months left, but maybe they can come next summer. Or maybe . . . Nah, Mr. Hayes wouldn't be too happy. I'm  surprised he let them come! He absolutely hated us!

"Fine, four!" I agreed, "Now go,  before I have to get a blimp and fly you to the mall or the park or wherever!"

"Can we get the blimp in blue?" Dillon asked. How old was he? Oh, yeah, he was seven. Aidan was ten, and Jacob was seventeen. Everyone chuckled in response to Dillon, who looked thoroughly serious when he asked the question and was now confused and a bit angry since no one had answered it.

"You can get it in green, I don't think we have a blue one. Now, quoting Louis, 'Bye-bye, now'," Zayn said, urging the group out the door. Once they were gone, I slammed the door shut. I leaned against the wood and sighed.

"Let's get to planning."

My phone was ringing, as was Harry's, but neither of us picked up. Whoever it was, they really wanted to talk to us. Probably just some fan who somehow figured out our numbers. Or maybe it was Simon . . ? Oh, why don't I just stop asking questions and answer the phone? Oh yeah, because I hadn't moved my hand yet.

"Yes? Who is it?" I asked, as I hadn't checked the caller ID. I looked around at where we were, while observing, I glanced at Maddie and noticed that she was sitting on the ground, arguing with her brothers and sisters and refusing to get up. I paused moving to talk to whoever was on the phone with me, and to see how this little disagreement with Maddie would turn out.

"Danielle, genius. Why won't Harry pick up? El and I have been trying to call you guys all day, but you aren't answering. None of you are. What's Liam up to, and why won't he answer?" Dani said. She definitely didn't sound too happy. "Oh, stop smiling. I know you are, Niall. Go talk to Liam. Is he mad at me for some reason? I swear I didn't do anything!"

"No, I don't think he's mad at you," I answered. "He kicked the girls and their brothers, and Harry and I out for the day. He's with Louis and Zayn, and won't tell anyone else what they're up to. I'm pretty sure they locked the door behind us, and they confiscated our keys. And Harry's not picking up because he's too busy gawking at Megan."
