"Maddie?" I asked, knocking feebly on my bedroom door. She still refused to sleep in her room, which I don't really understand, despite the arguments of the lads and Megan and Riley; I'm entirely fine with her sleeping in my room, however, and quite like it, though I would still appreciate a reason to why she happened to refuse to even look at her bedroom door. "Can I ask you a question?"
"You just did!" she replied, smiling wide and opening the door. She was dressed up in clothes unsuitable for a day at home. Maddie must've been going somewhere. Again. "Wanna ask another one?"
"Sure," I replied. "Where have you been going off to the last three days?" For the past three days, she's been leaving the house, all dressed up, and going somewhere with someone and it was making me anxious, and horribly jealous, though I'd never admit it.
"Luke," she answered casually, trying to tie her hair up into a ponytail. "Could you help me with my shoe? It won't go on my stupid foot. My foot's way too big."
"Your feet are normal sized, these high heels are both uncomfortable and painstakingly small. You may as well wear flats," I replied, trying to keep my rage under control. Even so, my face gradually kept getting redder, and more and more I wanted to punch the wall with my bare fists.
Luke! Come on, this has to be a lie! She's known that guy for a little over a week, me a little over a month, and who does she choose? Luke! Just when a good majority of her memory is back, too: Well, half of it, anyway, we still had a long way to go for her to remember all those times we've spent together. But, God! She has to remember sleeping in my room for the last half week, come on! She doesn't have memory loss of right now, just of the past!
"You're right. Flats it is!" she replied with a smile. "Hey, you wanna come along with me tonight? Luke is taking me to Nando's and I know how much you like it there."
"I don't think that's such a good idea," I replied cautiously, thinking of what I might do if my anger gets too high. Luke would end up in his own hospital!
"Why not? Aw, is the little Niall jealous?" Maddie teased as she slipped on her flats, which were originally located in her room, but Riley relocated them the the top of my dresser.
"I'm not jealous!" I lied. "Just-"
"Please, Niall. Come along! Please?" she pouted, standing in front of me, looking adorable.
"How old is that guy?"
"Seventeen, about," Maddie answered.
"Shouldn't he be in school?" I hissed.
"It's summer, Niall. If he's supposed to be in school, then I am too," Maddie sighed. She put her hand on my shoulder. "Just go get dressed, alright? I'll be in the living room. I'll call Luke and say you're coming along, okay?"
"Whatever," I mumbled. As she left, I entered. I threw on some clothes that were obviously too casual for Maddie's likes, but it was the kind of clothes I preferred to wear at Nando's.

Luke was incredibly charming in my opinion. A nice guy. He was polite, charismatic, and had a good sense of humor. But often he just droned on and on and on about his stupid cats, and I needed Niall to make sure I didn't die of boredom. No, Luke I once thought of saying, I don't care about Mitzi and Donner. Quit talking about your stupid cats and eat your food! Hopefully he'd get the idea soon, before I literally run screaming out of the restaurant, trying to get the last topic of conversation about those cats out of my head. Why didn't I just sent Harry with him? He loved cats!
