Chapter 27

Sakura never had a better birthday.

Itachi had given her a ring of course. He had actually given her himself. Early in the morning, she received a package from Deidara, with in it a card and a small bird of clay, which moved on it's own. Naruto and Hinata had given her a beautiful bouquet of pink cherry blossoms, and a cute pink purse. (Sakura had already figured out that it was Hinata's idea.) From Ino she received a make-up bag. Shikamaru just gave her money, and told her he didn't know what to buy for her. Sasuke gave her an amazing bracelet, with small symbols on it, which gave good luck. Chouji gave her a red scarf, which was exactly three metres long. Kiba gave her a plushi of a very cute dog. Kakashi gave her volume one of Come Come Paradise, since she was now old enough to read it. Neji and Tenten gave her a book called "Beautiful Flowers and how to recognise Them", although they had totally changed the book and the cherry blossom was described as the greatest flower on earth and all the other flowers sucked. Lee gave her a set of nail polish in all kinds of colours. (Which was very handy for an Akatsuki.) And as last, Shino came by for ten minutes with a bag of candy and pens, which wrote better then any other pen.

After the birthday, nothing much special had happened to Sakura.

She still spied on her village, she still told everything she did to Ino, she still tried to stay out of problematic situations with Sasuke, like tripping over her own feet, falling on him, being in a almost-kissing-situation, and then Sasuke kisses her.

The only thing really changing was that she was fatter than an elephant. Which she hated of course. There isn't a girl, which likes to be fat. Even when she's pregnant from the man she loves more then herself.

"You're lucky I love you Itachi, or else I'd kill this kid." She said to herself everyday.

So now, we follow Sakura at Sasuke's seventeenth birthday, July 23.

It wasn't fair, she was only sixteen for three months and he already because seventeen. But life was cruel.

"Give me the remote control." Sakura demanded. Sasuke gave it to her.

"You're so grumpy. Be more cheerful, it's my birthday you know."

"Yeah, I can't believe you didn't invite anyone at all!"

"I will, next year. Besides I don't like big parties."

"That has a name; you're a party-pooper."

"Whatever, Sakura. Hey, I don't wanna watch Glamour Girls!"

"I do! Shuddup, Uchiha!"

Sasuke looked at Sakura for a moment before sighing deeply. She got more and more grumpy every day. 'Would every pregnant woman be that grumpy?' He wondered.

Suddenly, Sakura moaned. Sasuke looked at her again with a frown.

"Sakura?"

The sweat droplets were on her forehead, and her face showed she had pain. Sasuke jumped up. "Sakura!? What's wrong!?"

He saw how her hands clutched her stomach.

"Oh shit..." He mumbled.

"Get up Sakura. Get up!" He helped her up as fast as possible and lifter her up bridal style. He was glad he was a shinobi, or else he would never be able to carry her. He dashed out of the open backdoor and used his chakra to jump on the roofs, and dashed to the hospital. Sakura moaned even more, and started panting.

"Sasuke-...kun...It hurts-..."

"I'm going as fast as possible, Sakura!" He replied. He was of course going a little slower then he could because of carrying her. Relief came over him as he saw the hospital.
