Chapter 15

Time went by and the tenth of October came. Sasuke made sure Mimi really had left and hid, while masking his chakra. Now he only had to wait.

Sasuke wasn't the only one going after the meeting. After Kakashi and Asuma had gone back to report to the Hokage, they were send back again to go to the meeting.

"So, any ideas?" Asuma asked Kakashi while they sprinted back to the spot.

"Well, hiding wouldn't be very clever since Uchiha Itachi would discover us in a second." Kakashi replied simple. "I'll send a dog to listen and get him back after. He'll never think a dog would listen to his conversation."

"Well maybe he would." Asuma said. He looked at the ninja beside him. Kakashi shook his head. "He'll be to busy with both Sakura and Sasuke."

It went very quiet. Then, Asuma raised his shoulders. "I guess you know him better than me anyways."

"Sakura." Itachi walked into their room, fully dressed, and tried to wake the kunoichi. "We have to go."

She opened her eyes and blinked some times. "Get dressed, eat something, we have an appointment." Itachi wanted to leave again. "Appointment? With who?" Sakura slowly got up and started searching for her clothes. She was only wearing a long shirt from him and her panties. "And where the hell are my clothes!?" "Maybe there doing laundry." Itachi suggested. He walked to the closet and took something out of it. He tossed the black ball of clothing to Sakura. When she looked more closely, she was it was a short, tight dress, black, with red Akatsuki clouds on it. Not really happy with it, she started changing. Itachi didn't bother to hide he was looking at her. Sakura couldn't care less.

"Ok, done." She put on her shoes and Itachi gave her an apple. "Where exactly are we going again?" She asked while they put their cloaks on. "Meeting." Itachi said. He took her hat and placed it on her head. She smiled. "With?" Again, Itachi didn't answer and put his own hat on as well.

They left and Sakura followed Itachi into the forest. They didn't travel quick, they just walked. Sakura tried again. "With who, Itachi?" "With who what." "With who are we meeting?" "... Akatsuki." "But who?" "You wouldn't know it anyway, so why would I tell you?" "Why wouldn't you?"

Silence. Itachi glared at Sakura. For the change, she stared back. "His name is Zetsu." He finally said.

"Thanks." Sakura said smiling, and took a bite out of her apple. Itachi just looked in front of him again. 'He's so cute!' Inner Sakura yelled blushing and squealing. Sakura mentally sighed.

They arrived at the meeting spot after a long long time of walking. Sasuke could clearly see them. And he recognised her chakra.

'Sakura...' It took him a great effort to stay hidden and not run towards them.

Someone else appeared then. Some... thing. It had to be sort of human. It wore an Akatsuki cloak, but a sort enormous plant stuck out of the collar.

Sakura gave a little yelp from surprise. 'What is that!?' Inner Sakura said with disgust.

"Hello Itachi." The sound came from somewhere where the thing stood, but Sakura didn't see a mouth on it. Then, the plant actually split in two parts, and a black-white face appeared. "Zetsu." Itachi said uncaring. He put off his hat and Sakura followed his example.

Sasuke felt his heartbeat rise when he saw her face. He tried to study her expression.

He had expected a scared, terrified look, maybe even crying. But Sakura looked only shocked from seeing this Zetsu. Not scared at all, like she wasn't kidnapped by Uchiha Itachi, slaughterer from the Uchiha-clan, S-class criminal. He could kill her any second he wanted to, but Sakura just didn't look scared. Even her chakra was calm.
