I looked around, half expecting my team to be staring at me, only to see Dr. Conners.
"How are you feeling," Dr. Conners asked.
"OK I guess," I replied, cringing at the sudden pain in my head.
"You took quite the hit to the head!"
"I guess that's why I have such a bad headache."
"Do you want anything for it?"
"Nope. I'm good."
"Ok. If you say so," he finished, leaving the bedside.
I tried to get up slowly, trying to not make my head feel any worse. Then, I took an experimental step. 'Seems OK enough,' I thought. I walked a bit more and decided that I wouldn't keel.
Then,
