Where are my socks? I know I put them away last night... Ugh. My room's beginning to look like a huge disaster. That time when you have the ability to wall-crawl so the floor looks like a mess. Heh.

Well, at least I have enough for our trip. Now lets see... Clothes, toiletries, hygiene items, meds, and electronics. Ok cool, I have everything. I quickly clean my room before grabbing my bag and heading for the stairs.

"Have fun going on that trip with your friends Peter!" Aunt May says, handing me a breakfast sandwich.

"Thanks, I will!" I reply as I rush to the door. I open the door and almost collide with Sam.

"Woah! Calm down dude!" Sam dodges to the side and nearly falls into Aunt May's flowers. Dear God she would kill me for that.

"Sorry Sam." I grab his wrist and hoist him back up to his feet. He rolls his eyes with a small grin and we both head to the SHIELD car at the end of my driveway.

"Finally, you guys! I  thought you would never come, " Ava shouts as Sam and I get out of the car.

"Can't get rid of us that easily," I shout back, grabbing my bags. Suddenly my pocket vibrates and I drop the duffel. I whip out my phone and read the notification. Ugh, it's just a heckin game notification again. At least I look like I have friends because of that... I shove my phone back into my pocket and resume what I was doing.

Now (finally) I walk with Ava and Sam to the beach house. Well, I suppose it's more of a hotel that SHIELD owns. We all check in and take the elevator to the third floor where our rooms happened to all be (for the author's sanity).

"-so we just happened to be there when she fell. Like, it's not my fault she soaked her chanclas in the mud," I hear Sam say to Danny and Luke. God, I need to stop zoning out like that.

"Dude, that's not as bad as the time Lila spilled her bubble tea on the stairs and everyone was late for chem," Luke points out. Heh. That would have been more funny if I didn't 'slip' because of my nerd-clumsiness.

"Anyway, it's like I said. Not my problem."

"This is why I hate basic chicks," Ava mutters.

The elevator stops and we all disperse. I opened my door and chucked my bag onto the bed on the far right. Closing the door, I set my key card and phone down on the small table by the kitchenette and collapse on the armchair at the far left corner of the room. The day has only just begun and I'm already exhausted. I sit there and relish in the nothingness of sitting down in a comfy chair. Maybe if I close my eyes for a second...

 BZZT BZZT BZZT

BZZT BZZT BZZT

What?

BZZT BZZT-- Stop it already. I get up and pick up my phone. Ava's calling. I swipe the green icon and put my phone up to my ear.

"Hello?" I say, slowly.

"Are you ok dude? We texted you over an hour ago that we were going to the beach," she says. Shoot.

"OH. Sorry about that. I was looking for my headphones," I reply lamely. Frickin' not again. I mentally take a beep breath.

"Seriously? Whatever. We're gonna stay here for a few more hours if you want to join us."

"Sounds good. I'll be down in 10." I hang up and rub my eyes. Rummaging around in my forgotten duffel, I grab my trunks and towel and get changed. I grab my keycard, phone and emergency web shooters. Putting on my sandals, I exit my room and make my way down to the beach.

I walk off the boardwalk onto the burning sand. Looking to my right I see Sam jumping to spike a volleyball but Luke saves it and Ava then sets the ball. Luke goes back around and nearly serves it at Danny's face.

"Sorry man!" Luke shouts. Danny waves him and they resume. I set my stuff down next to their umbrellas and walk toward the relatively violent game of volleyball.

"I was starting to wonder if you had died or something," Sam half-jokes. I force a laugh.

"Anyhow, why don't we all go for a swim? I mean unless you wanna play uneven teams," I say to ease the tension that was beginning to form.

"Sure. Let's go," Danny replies.

I put on some sunscreen then join the others in the water. As soon as I get in something splashes my back. I turn around and Luke averts his eyes away from me. Then he points to Sam, who points to Ava, and she point at Danny, who then points at Luke. I swear it looks just like that awful Spider-man meme. To be fair that whole situation only happened because of that whole multiverse incident. I still get weird dreams about the pig...

"You know what? Whatever. I don't care who did it. Just don't leave your guard down!" I say as I use my strength to splash them all.

"Dude really? I didn't even do it this time!" Sam whines, wiping the salty ocean water out of his eyes. The rest of them grumble in agreement. I put my arms up in surrender and a splash war breaks out.

Of course, as if on cue, a super-villain decides to crash the party. Cue civilians screaming, yada yada. I get my emergency webs and suit from my towel. Hopefully no one caught that on camera. who am I kidding, SHIELD probably hacked the footage already. My team soon joins me in their suits and we make our way through the last wave of people to whomever we're facing this time. Honestly though. One would think villains would take a hint and go on holiday but noooo.

Doc Oc. I swear I just put that guy away. God maybe if security was better Fury--hint hint--this wouldn't happen.

"Don't you have a high security SHIELD prison you should be chillin' in? I was enjoying the sun," I shoot a web at one of the robo-tentacles and pull it through the space between his legs. He rolls onto his back and uses the momentum to pull me with him.

"Woah!" I get pulled so hard I get a good bit of air time. Ava and Danny run behind Oc and lunge at the other tentacles to try and detach them. Then the tentacles are gone and both Danny and Ava are flung 40 feet into the air. Luke tries a slightly different approach but ends up 20 feet into the ocean. Sam is shooting at Doc Oc, who deflects one of the beams of energy back at Sam. I get back up and try to control my breathing. I know that I started disassociating as soon as the fight started. Everything feels less and less in my control.

Then I finally slip.

Last part up soon (but college exists so ye). This has been such a long ongoing project lol. Hopefully I'll get around to fixing earlier chapters sometime next summer. My passion for this has left but I am powering through out of guilt and slight fixation, so that is why the writing style has changed drastically over the last few chapters. Hopefully the ending won't upset you guys too much.
