Chapter 12: The Stony Affair

As I walked in, Cap led me to the living room.

"Hey kid. What did we do to deserve this visit? " Tony joked as he seated himself next to Cap. I sat opposite of them in an armchair.

"No reason actually. I just figured we could sit and converse, " I tried not to sound weird.

"Well then, what's on your mind? " Bruce asked, walking in with coffee mugs.

I hadn't actually given that much thought.

"Well I've been meaning to tell you guys something about me, " I mentally prepared myself, "it's very important to me that you know. (I took another breath) I think I'm genderfluid."

Honestly, I wished they weren't so calm about it. Any reaction would have been better than the cloud of suspense.

After a solid five minutes, Widow and Hawkeye enter with a bag. In the bag is a rainbow frosted cake. Why me? 

It was only 10 minutes into the cake that I was bombarded with affection and support. Especially from Cap, surprisingly. Although, I shouldn't really be surprised, considering the Stony going on right in front of me.

During all of that, I slowly felt better about myself.

After the cake and acceptance ritual, Tony stood up and led me to his lab on the 15 level.

"Kid, you have got to see this, " he had a bit of excitement in his voice. In the lab, there was a holographic suit design..... for me?!

I walked up to it and looked at the specs.

"Its made of a reinforced tripolymer made to resist knives, glass,  and bullets. It also contains specialized pads that reduces bruising. The material itself is also thin and breathable so you can do your wall crawling thing. And the best part is this! " My mind was going in circles. All of this for me? But enough about what I think. Let's get back to the point.

"In the mask I created lenses that come with scope, night vision, heat sensors, and some AR capabilities. "

"Can I play Pokemon Go? " I asked, not expecting to get affirmation.

"Yes. Yes you can. "

The Zelda theme of when you get an item went off in my head. This was all too much.

"Woah, woah, woah kid. Call down!  We're not doing quantum physics! " Tony brought me back to reality.

"This is for me? " the question finally made itself known.

"Well, after our first encounter... " Tony didn't continue. He probably didn't want to trigger anything.

"Well anyways, thank you. "

"Sir, Captain Rogers requires your presence, "JARVIS interjected. I jumped a little. Spider sense doesn't save you from that.

We walked over to the main room again, only to find my Aunt had come over.

Shit.

This is going to be fun.

But wait. Does this mean that Aunt May knows?!

My stomach started doing flips when she looked over at me.

"Spiderman! Have you seen Peter? He left without saying where he was going. That boy is always taking pictures of you for the Daily Bugle, "Aunt May said frantically.

My nerves eased a little.

"I think I may have seen his walking over to the library Ms. Parker.

"Thank you Spiderman. You know, even though that Jameson thinks you're a menace, you truely are good at heart." With that she left.

"So Spiderman, care to share? " Natasha spoke up. 

Crap, not this again. Oh well. Might as well tell them. I've already told them one secret.

"My actual name is Peter Parker, " I revealed as I took off my mask.

"I knew it! You guys all collectively owe me 1k. Pay up, " Tony exclaimed.

A groan from everyone else could be heard through out the city.

And that was how I got to know Tony Stark.
