Saving the world was no easy task. Defeating Doc Oc? That was very easy. Testifying in court? well that brings us to our story now.

Some my think that Deadpool is bearable at best. I believe that is a generous assumption. As Aunt May drove up to the sidewalk, I snapped from my stupor and got in the car once again.

"How was it Peter? You didn't get too shaken from questioning right?" Aunt May asked cautiously.

"Nah it was fine," I said. I rested my arm on the armrest.

The rest of the drive was silent for the most part. A bit awkward actually. Soon we got home. I got out of the car and went up to my room.

"There's some pizza left in the fridge for lunch Peter. I'm gonna go out with the girls," Aunt May shouted from below. I thanked her and took a look at my calendar. The trial was tomorrow.

I got to the courthouse with half an hour to spare. The tie felt too constricting. Mr. Murdock called my name and led me over to the recess room.

"Loosen up kid. The prosecution is gonna be all over you once you get to the stand," I snapped out of my stupor and took a deep breath. This would all be over soon.

About 15 more minutes passed, then we were ushered into the courtroom. I wasn't really paying attention to what happened next but soon enough I was called up to the stand. The bailiff held out a bible and I put my hand on it.

"Peter Parker, do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth?" the Bailiff asked indifferently.

"I do," I said with a similar indifference.

"You may take the stand," the judge said. I walked around and sat on the chair in the stand. The prosecutor stood up.

"So Mr. Parker, what can you tell us about the events that occurred at the time of the crime?"

"I was on my way home. I was a little under the weather at the time. As I was to crossing the street, I heard someone honking at me. The car had hit me and I passed out."

"The defense may now begin its cross examination," the judge addressed Mr. Murdock.

"So Mr. Parker--"

"Excuse us. Coming through," some SHIELD agents burst into the room.

"Excuse me but who are  you and why are you in my court?" the judged said a bit peeved.

"This trial is no longer in your jurisdiction your honor." The judge gave a defeated sigh and said, "Fine." The agent nodded and led Wade away. I was unsure of what was supposed to do after that. I stood at the stand dumbly for another minute, then I walked over to Aunt May. She was equally as confused as I was. Actually, probably more so. In the back of my mind I had hoped that SHIELD would intervene. I then realized that Mr. Murdock had disappeared.
