Voldemort's Grandchildren(Sequel to Nico and Neko's)

Chapter 7

Nico's POV

I woke up to the pained yowls of Jess as she thrashed beside me.I shot up and turned to my human self.Looking around,I saw Percy and Annabeth were nowhere to be seen.I picked her up and began to softly pet her.Her thrashing calmed a little to where I could hold her safely.She wouldn't wake and I didn't know what to do.Then I remembered something.Jess had been trying to show me Neko powers.I hadn't gotten very far but I could barley go into other's minds.It was dangerous.It could cause serious health issues.But for Jess,I would do anything.I slowly began to concentrate,trying to get into Jess' mind.My vision started to go black as Jess' mind became clearer.At that moment Percy burst into into the room shouting about one thing or another.I collapsed on the bed just as he noticed I wasn't listening.

--In Jess' mind--

Narrator POV

Nico appeared in Jess' dream with a 'humph' as he fell from the ceiling.He stood,looking for anything familiar.With no clue where to go,he started west.Or,what he assumed to be west.He neared a black door,it's towering figure menacing.He reached for the door knob and was shocked to find his hand went straight through it.He experimentally punched the door,with the same result.He slowly stepped through the door.A shiver ran through his body as he passed right through the door.He stepped through the door and was greeted with a horrifying sight.Jess,chained to the wall,blood leaking from the cuffs that held her there.And,there was another projection of himself.Nico started forward,and stopped.Realizing they could not see him,he mover forward.He stopped a couple feet away,and began listening to what they were saying."Nico?"Jess asked,hope filling her voice.Nico cringed at the same time Jess did.Her voice sounded as though she had been in the desert for four weeks.It was dry and crackly.The dream Nico had a cold look in his eye the real Nico did not like."Oh,poor little Jess, you always talk about saving and protecting those you love,but when they needed you the most,you stood there and let them die?"Dream Nico said.Real Nico looked around with confusion.He only then noticed the pile of death that was his former friends.He was unable to stop the tears that fell from his eyes as he looked upon his dead friends.Percy,Annabeth,Leo,Frank,the rest of the seven.His heart broke even further to see Hazel and Thalia,their eyes dull with the heavy burden of death.Nico returned his attention to Jess and dream Nico."-not strong enough,not brave enough.And want to know something else?I never loved you.You were just a toy that I could play with.A piece of trash,only to be used and thrown away.No one will ever love you,ever."Dream Nico said.Real Nico cried out for Jess as he felt Jess' heart shatter into small pieces.He watched as dream Nico picked her up and chained her to the floor.He stared with horror as dream Nico rolled up Jess' sleeves to expose the old scars that layered her arm.He was the only one that new that those scars were there,as well as what caused them.Dream Nico stood up and in his hands appeared a whip of fire with golden (Sky:BUTTER!!!!!!) spikes wrapped around it.He began to strike Jess,each time hitting a different scar.Jess' eyes slowly began to tear as the spikes cut through her skin like butter.(Sky:BUTTER YAY!!) Nico could bear the pain of watching this no more.He ripped himself from Jess' mind quicker than the speed of light.

--Back out of Jess' mind--

Nico's POV

I shot up from the bed I was in and began pacing.As I paced,my brain went into overdrive.Every dream means something.Jess is worried about everyone dyeing,but that's normal.I thought.What did I have to do with it.My swift pace stopped immediately as I noticed Jess waking up.
