Chapter 13

Sky's POV

Things at camp have been hectic since Jess left.There's an ongoing rivalry between the Camper and the Nekos.We would find our huts spray painted, our prey pile looted (I don't even know why, it's not like the campers eat our prey.)As temporary leader I've been trying to make at least a little peace, but the campers are relentless.

I made my way down to the big house, making sure to look around.There were campers playing volleyball, basketball and a bunch of other sports.I walked through the door, spotting Chiron."Chiron! I need your help!Have you heard...." "About the rivalry between Campers and Nekos?Yes, I have."

I raised an eyebrow."Well, are we going to do something about it...........or?"Chiron nodded."I think we need to start maybe mixing the Campers and Nekos more.Things like games and such."I nodded."That seems like a good idea, actually.How about a capture the flag game?"

Jess' POV

The train slowed to a stop, the brakes screeching.I rushed back to my compartment, catching up to Percy, Annabeth, and Nico just as they were leaving the train."Hey guys."They nodded to me.Nico grabbed my hand as we walked.

We got onto the carriages with Harry.Percy kept having little conversations with those Black horses that were pulling the carriages.Harry just glanced at him, understanding flashing in his eyes before he looked towards the castle.

The carriage slowly stopped in front of the castle, my jaw dropping.The building was huge, large towers, turrets, the whole shebang.We hopped out of the carriage."Percy, quit talking to the horses and come on!"Percy looked at me, nodding at the horse and  jumping off the carriage, walking over to us.

We walked through the hall, checking out everything.The paintings moved and we even talked to them!Soon enough, we reached the great hall.The ceiling immediately attracted my eye, and I looked up into the stars.

Soon enough, they started calling up all the new students, saving us for last.I almost fell asleep when Dumbledore stood up and cleared his throat."As some of you have noticed, we have some older students joining our feast today."

They all turned to look at us."Treat them with respect and help them feel welcome."He sat down, nodding to the woman with glasses.

She held up her scroll and read off our names."Annabeth Chase."She walked up, muttering.The hat barely touched her head when it shouted,  "Ravenclaw!"

We all clapped as Annabeth walked over to the table where all the blue ties were."Nico DiAngelo!" Nico walked smoothly to the stool, sitting down and waiting.It took longer to sort him than Annabeth.

Soon enough, it shouted,"Gryffindor!"He walked over to the far table.Percy was next.He got sorted into Hufflepuff.

The halls eyes turned to me."Jess Jackson."
