Chapter 9

Jess' POV

I was the first to wake up.......at 5:30 am.But,you can't blame me,I was really excited.Today I was going to diagonal alley or something,to get my school supplies.I was tired of pacing the room that we shared,so,I carefully slipped out the door,quietly closing the door behind me.I tiptoed quietly through the hall and up a set of stairs.Looking at each name on the doors,I stopped at one that said,"Regulus Argus(?) Black."I opened the door,walking in.Dang,this person liked green and silver.There were banners,little flags,moving pictures.Taking a step closer,I examined a picture.It had about 10 boys on it,all dressed in dark green.They looked really happy.Looking a little closer,I noticed a younger boy that looked like dog boy(Sirius).I took my leave of the room,looking for dog boy's room.Finally,after at least 5 minutes of searching,I found it.I opened the door quietly,noticing dog boy asleep in the bed.Noticing the small attached bathroom,I crept inside.I had a prank planned for dog boy.Searching through his shower supplies,I found what I was looking for,conditioner.I searched through the sink cupboards and found some petroleum jelly.I ran out of the room and flew down the to kitchen. "Kreacher!" I whisper yelled.Kreacher and I had become allies of sorts,aiming to annoy the living cereal out of dog boy.A sharp crack echoed through the kitchen as Kreacher apparated into the room. He noticed me and an evil glint appeared in his eyes."Yes,Miss Jess?"He asked.He had taken to calling me Miss Jess for some reason.Not that I cared,but it was interesting how he respected me after a couple of weeks and he hated dog boy his entire life.With and evil smile on my face,I told Kreacher what I needed.He nodded and snapped out of the kitchen.Moments later,he arrived with a box of plastic gloves, sandwich bags and red kool-aid.She remembered the guy who told her about this trick that it could stain the skin.I gave a small chuckle,who cares?!?!Putting on the gloves,then mixing the kool-aid, petroleum jelly,and conditioner into a bowl,I began mixing it together,slowly getting a sticky,dark pink substance.There was much more than I needed in my mix,so I grabbed a couple sandwich bags and put most of the dye in the bags.I grabbed some plastic wrap and quickly but quietly made my way back to dog boy's room.Before I arrived in his room,I stopped at scarface's room,running in grabbing his wand and waving it over the bowl.I didn't know any actual spells,but in my mind,I thought hard about making it magic proof.I hoped it would work.Returning scarface's wand back to him,I continued to dog boy's room.I walked through the door and crept over to the bed in the middle of the room.I glanced around the room,taking in everything around me.There were a couple of pictures of bikini clad women and motorcycles,as well as small flags like in the other room, only these were red and gold. I prayed to the gods he was a heavy sleeper as I applied the stuff to his hair,making to get it deep into the roots.I covered his head with plastic wrap and ran out of the room.I washed my hands in a different bathroom's sink,and was pleased and angry that it didn't wash off my hands.And it was on my paws in Neko form too.I groaned.My hopes slightly rose.If it didn't wash off, then a water spell wouldn't wash it off,right?Hopefully,it was magic resistant.I walked back to our room and changed into a pair of galaxy leggings,one of my few pairs that had pockets thank gods.I pulled a gray sweater over my ears,pulling on my gray beanie as well to hide my ears.I had no reason to hide myself from the order beacuse they already knew beacuse after we first got here,the first thing werewolf did was tell everyone.I placed on some gray slip on Tom's flats and a black collar,as well as a couple of pink bracelets for breast cancer awareness.I grabbed my messenger style shoulder bag and ran downstairs.(http://www.polyvore.com/geek_chic/set?id=179513954)I sat down at the kitchen table,pulling out my monster-proof phone,thanks to Leo.(A/n:Omg,much cliche,much wow.)It had a case that looked like a light pink soda cup that said.'Unicorn Tears' on it.I loved it.I opened up Wattpad and began to read a couple fanfictions.I waited patently as one by one the occupants of the house filled into the room.I made sure to keep my hands on my lap so they couldn't see the pink that covered them.I watched as a sleepy Nico,Percy,and Annabeth slouched in.They fell into their chairs sleepily and yawned.I giggled as Nico looked at me."Hey Jess,where were you?I didn't see you when I woke up."He asked.I nodded and looked up from my phone."Well,I woke up early and came down here and waited for you guys."I said,innocently smiling at the end of my sentence.Nico narrowed his eyes suspiciously and tilted his head to the side."Fish Face,what did you do?"He asked.I shrugged.Everyone had heard Nico ask me what I had done,so now they were looking at us.Fred and George especially looked freaked,beacuse they knew what my pranks could be like.I was about to say something else when someone screamed.This sent the demonic Mrs.Black to start screaming,her curtains flying open and her shrieking filling the house."FILTHY MUDBLOODS!!!BLOOD TRAITORS.SCUM IN MY HOUSE!!!!"She screamed.Mrs.Weasley and the werewolf ran out the door, running to close the curtains around her painting.Once the unholy sound of Mrs.Black stopped,we uncovered our ears.Only then did Nico see my hands."Jess,what is that?"He asked,pointing to my hands.I started to explain.when an angry dog boy ran into the kitchen,his hair bright pink.I started laughing at the sight of hisangry face and my hand flew to cover my mouth as I was laughing.His gaze traveled to my hand and he stalked over to me.By now I was rolling on the floor laughing,and so was Nico,Percy,Annanbeth,Fred and George,and the trio.The adults just stifled their laughs and continued their morning like nothing was wrong.I gained some control and sat up on the floor,pulling out my phone and snapping a picture of Sirius,pink haired rage and all.He began impatiently tapping his foot. When I looked up at him he started by speak."When will this come out?"He asked angrily.I laughed again."A month or two,maybe three if i'm lucky."I said.He growled.He was about to say something when a sharp crack echoed through the room,and there stood Dumbledore.He looked around the room.Me,the twins,the trio and all the demigods on the floor,a pink haired dog boy,and everyone else being normal.He cleared his throat."Well then,Demigods,lets go.Just grab my arm."He said,holing out his arm."Saved by the door."I mumbled under my breath as we got up and walked over to Albus.We grabbed his arm.Seconds later,we dissolved into darkness.
